I used to take regular Alka-Seltzer for occasional heartburn, but ever since I began taking blood thinners, my doctor warned me not to take any NSAIDs; regular Alka-Seltzer contains aspirin so it was off the table. I was fortunate to find this type of Alka-Seltzer, which does not contain NSAIDs and is specifically designed to address just the heartburn.

I bought this for my husband to try, who suffers from extremely bad acid reflux/heartburn. These provide great instant relief, without the worry of excessive ibuprofen/aspirin consumption. He uses these daily, which is why I would say that these are a little on the expensive side. Other than that, this is a great product, with no bad medicinal aftertaste.

I use Alka-Seltzer Gold to reduce reaction to environmental pollutants, fragrance, etc. Also works great for occasional heartburn. Nice it has no aspirin or other meds. Great help for chemical sensitivity.
