I had (still have, but it's set aside now) an in-ear aid. That one was also from Amazon as I'm never going to hork up $3k ~ $4k for something somewhat better with medical grade ones. It worked pretty good despite my left ear's 85% loss that's been that way for 40 years. Although it worked okay, it was a constant fiddling with it as it would get uncomfortable. It also has a tiny adjustment on it that would get bumped or changed every time I would touch it. There's no DSP or anything else, it just amplified everything - dogs barking, our Love Bird screeching, you name it. Then, there are these. I've held off for a while before reviewing. I can wear it all day. The part that fits in the ear have virtually no weight at all, so it doesn't fell like there's something there. The part behind my ear has very little weight either, and glasses doesn't seem to be an issue. You will have to try it with the various soft silicone earplugs they supply to get a good and tight fit. The great part about them is the DSP. (Digital Signal Processing) They clamp down on loud noises. I don't have to claw them out when our German Shepherd and Pitbull go into intruder alert mode. Even clanging down the lid of the BBQ momentarily drops level, and it eases back up. And, you do NOT have to listen to hissing AC vents, fans, or other ambient sounds. The DSP seems to filter out irritating noise. The DSP has made me readjust how I wear these. I figured out that the delay when powering up, it's "learning" the environment and probably the pressure in your ear. It comes alive after about 15 seconds, and you hear a beep. It remembers the last used level, so you just turn it on when putting it in. I started out hitting the button thinking I had to ramp up levels each time, but it goes back to where it was, so now I just put it in, and turn it on. When it's working, you can hear voices much better, but no constant ambient sounds. That takes mental adjustment because with the cheaper amplified type, you get used to hearing all that noise thinking that's how they work. My bad ear is best at level 3. There's 4 levels. What you need to do when trying them out the first time, is play something on your phone, preferably a BLOG or recording of someone talking. Hold it in front of you, and move it to your right, then left ear and back a few times. I have an okay right ear, so that's my "baseline." So, swing the phone back and forth all the way around your head in an arc. With level 3, I can hear the voice about the same in each ear. With no aid, I can't tell what's being said when the phone's by my left ear. Closing my eyes, the phone's sound travels back and forth. If you set the levels to hear incoming ambient sounds, it's set too high. Took me a while to figure that out. I can wear both, but the right at level 1. In that case, I end up with dog hearing, probably can track squirrels with both in. The carrying case also charges them. The case uses the newer USB type C. I don't like manufacturers who pawn off old stock electronics with MicroUSB ports. Type C is the current plug, even on iPhones now. There's magnets on the bottom of the aids to hold them in place, so they won't fall out on you. They're secured in place with the lid open, yet easy to remove and put on. The case also has a hidden display that lights up in charging percent, and flashing bars for each aid when they're stored and charging. Wearing one aid all day, and it takes about 10% of the case's battery, so I'd guess 20% with a pair, so about five charges as their ad copy says. I'd say if you've had your hearing checked, and they're pushing you to buy a set of hearing aids for five grand, try a set of these instead.

Best quality hearing aids I’ve tried so far I’ve tried several OTC hearing aids before, and these FLAYGO GM-362T are clearly the best in terms of sound quality and overall performance. The sound is clean and natural — speech is much clearer, and background noise is better controlled compared to cheaper models I’ve used. Volume and modes are easy to adjust, and the devices feel solid and well-made. They fit comfortably in the ear and stay in place throughout the day. The charging case with the digital display is convenient and shows the battery level clearly. Battery life has been good so far. For the price, the build quality and sound performance are impressive. If you’re looking for an affordable pair that actually works better than most budget options, these are worth trying. Highly recommended.

I bought these hearing aids for a family member, and they’ve been an excellent purchase. The sound is crisp and natural, making conversations much easier to understand, even in places with a lot of background noise. Got these for my dad who struggles at family dinners, always asking people to repeat themselves. First night we tried them at my sister's place with six people talking at once. He could pick out my voice better when I sat close, but the noise reduction didn't do much in that crowded room, still a lot of chatter blending together. The one button volume thing is nice and simple, no fiddling with tiny dials, and he figured out the four levels within a few minutes. Fit is decent, he said he forgot they were even in his ear after an hour or so, and they're small enough that you can't really see them. Battery life seems fine too, charged once and got him through several days without babying it. Where it fell short was quiet one on one talks, oddly enough. In a calm room watching TV he said voices sounded a little tinny and not as natural as he expected from something calling itself HIFI sound. There's also a faint whistling sound sometimes if he adjusts them mid ear, not constant but noticeable enough to be annoying. So overall it's a mixed bag. Good for group settings where volume is the main issue, less impressive for clarity in quiet settings. Manual included was basic and we ended up looking up the video anyway. Not a total miss but not the clear upgrade we were hoping for either.

I've been wearing aids longer than I care to remember. I am 74 years old. I can not remember the last time I was able to sit on my front porch with my wife and hear birds singing. (we live on a mini farm in the country) sitting here and enjoying a cup of evening coffee is one of our pleasures in life after 52 Years together. She would tell me about the birds she could hear. I've never been able to hear the TV without my headset which prohibits me from conversation about what we're watching. Now this isn't perfect, any previously amplified sound still sounds tin pany but normal, non amplified voices are perfectly natural. I have even found that most sounds are now directional, meaning I can tell where they come from. not something any of my previous aids could actually do and these didn't cost me thousands. I've never been able to wear my hearing aids around the house for lengthy periods. My grandchildren our noisy as are most and with the aids the screaming was near painful. Now I've had these for two weeks. I like to use things for a while before making a decision about the product as I've found that use sometimes helps to adjust to things that we may find annoying in the beginning. NOW: pros I did not like these the first time I used them. I found the restriction to four levels of volume irritating because I had become accustomed to unrestricted levels and being able to adjust them constantly as environments changed. about two days in I found that after using them in the mornings i had forgotten to remove them (they are that light and comfortable) I went to my woodshop to work on a project. As I was walking across the yard getting nearer to my shop I began to hear a chirping noise from behind the shop. Honest truth here, I did not recognize it and went to investigate. I discovered it was a sparrow in a tree. I stood watching and listening for some time in amazement. Not still fully understanding i reached up and touched my ear realizing I still had the aids in. I started walking around just listening and I could hear the sand crunching as I walked, I could hear the grass brushing my pant legs and shoes, then I stood quietly listening to another sound that was hard for me to place. I discovered it was the breeze finding it's way through the pines below me in our vale. I honestly went back to the porch and set in my rocker and my wife found me in tears. when she asked why the only explanation I could give her was "I can hear birds and sand and grass and wind." We have since gone out for dinner and I discovered that my wife did not have to translate what the server was saying. Normally because of background noise I would have to take my aids out and that prohibited conversation for me. Being able to talk with my wife while enjoying a meal was amazing. That's when I discovered the background noise reduction on these actually works. It isn't something that is immediately obvious but you begin to realize the noise doesn't compete with the human voice. you will notice that soft spoken people may still be difficult to understand but that is not a fault of this product. I love that these are rechargeable and I have discovered that they will at least last two days on one charge and still going strong. that charger will absolutely recharge them four times on one charge. I have found that I can use the aids on volume two for most situations, even running tools in my shop. cons: the reason i gave only four stars is related to the charger. I don't know why the designed it oblong and rounded so you have to lay it down instead of being flat bottomed and able to sit up. The aids do not snap into place and I have to be very careful in positioning the case or they will fall away from the contacts and stop charging. The lid will not stay up on its own, it keeps falling back down. This is irritating to me when I'm trying to remove or install the aids. Why on earth could they not design a proper charger? I have not received and compensation for this review and I can assure you every word is the gospel truth. admittedly I wasn't expecting much for this price but I'm truly impressed. You couldn't pay me to return them.

They are lightweight and comfortable in his ears, and adjusting the volume is straightforward. He also like that they are rechargeable and come with a charging case, so we don’t have to worry about constantly replacing batteries. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase and my father also happy.

First this is my first pair. They are comfortable to wear. They sound like your in the bottom of a metal bucket. Not sure if that's normal for hearing aids. My main problem is it's hard to adjust the volume while wearing it. I'll update about the durability and battery life in a month or two.

I bought these for my grandmother because she has trouble hearing, and unfortunately, other hearing aids we’ve tried in the past didn’t work very well for her. These were recommended to me, so I’m really hoping they will be a better option. My first impression is very positive. They feel sturdy and well made, and I like that they come with the accessories needed to get started. The rechargeable case with the battery display is also very convenient. They are lightweight and seem comfortable to wear. So far, I’m very happy with the purchase and hopeful that they will work well for her.
