I got this hearing aid for my grandma to help her hear better. It works fine for basic listening, but it's quite noisy when there’s a lot of background sound. It doesn’t seem to reduce the noise as expected, which makes it hard for her to focus on conversations in busy environments.

This item is a rechargeable neckband hearing assistance device. From the neckband you have earplugs extensions. It looks more like some music audio device than a hearing aid. What is nifty about this device is that it has bluetooth connectivity. I found it easy to pair with my android phone and could take calls or listen to podcasts. The sound is pretty good. In terms of hearing amplification and noise cancellation, the device does a decent job, but not great. Just watching TV or having a conversation without additional sounds is fine and the amplification works well. It's when there is a mix of noise in the background, even trying both modes of noise cancellation, I find it makes it difficult to concentrate on the main sound whether it be TV or a person, as some background noise becomes louder. It's also a challenge to use in winter where you bundle up and wear scarves as it muffles the sound. A full charge lasts a long time and it's easy to recharge like a regular USB device, you just plug it in to a charging adapter. The price point seems reasonable if not just for the bluetooth connectivity. Overall, it's a usable device to help hear better, but not as good as high end expense hearing aids in terms of noise cancellation. Plain single audio stream amplification works well.
