Tried numerous other brands and they simply don't last long. We'll see how long these last. They certainly do not look like regular hearing aids but look like cool out of this world ear buds/pods. They stay in the ear perfectly because the point end with the mic(s) lean onto the side of the ear. It is crystal HD clear but does filter low level non human sounds out (such as crickets). My right ear is completely gone and left ear is probably half...this set really helped me out so much. I just hope the battery charging system do not break down. I've always had charging problems with my previous sets. Will update in a few months of usage. ... show more

These need to be charged for several hours b4 use. They seem to recharge in their storage case quite well once the case's battery is fully charged. They amplify high frequencies preferencially so everything sounds more "crisp". They even amplify sounds you can't normally hear. This can be annoying! Wearing them in windy conditions amplifies the noise of the wind picked up by the microphones and it is very hard to hear anything else.
