These hearing amplifiers worked fine for me. They arrived almost completely charged and had the medium sized tips on them already. They also include large or small tips and a charger cord (no driver) as well as a users manual. These were pretty straight forward to use. You have to press the top of the hearing aid to change the strength to your needs. When you press the minimum you will hear through the aid "volume minimum" and when you are at the maximum, it says "volume maximum". I think that these are comfortable to wear and I experienced no squealing. I think that this would be a good choice for someone who has mild to moderate hearing loss and the price is reasonable.

For whatever reason I think the volume is set on high when you first remove the ear buds out of the box. This results in a loud whistling sound when you even get close to putting it in your ear. What is the point in even having the sound level that high when it can't be used? Anyway you can and should adjust the sound and then it is ok. I found that at power level 2 or 3 the device was useable. Level 1 is pretty much off as it doesn't really amplify. The higher levels just gave high pitched whistles for whatever reason. Maybe it's user error but I don't see what I could be doing wrong. It does a decent job of amplifying sound but only when the sound is nearby. The volume adjustment is too sensitive and can easily be changed. The slightest touch changes the volume so you have to be careful. This touch technology isn't good. I'd prefer a pressure click instead or at least set it to respond to long presses instead of the sensitivity it's at now.

First of all, the amplification is amazing. I have about 30% hearing loss and I was looking for something for watching TV. When I first tried them on, they made a high pitched squealing. When I checked the instructions, they called this “howling” and they explain the scenarios it can happen. This includes magnetic fields, incorrect position or even stuff in your ears like ear wax. If the device is on and you try to insert them, they will howl. Make sure they are OFF when you put them in your ears. There is a five second delay and then it turns on. Adjusting the volume takes some practice. It takes some getting used to so that crazy chirp doesn’t happen but they do the job super well if you’re tired of always asking people to repeat what they said. Accessory box contains a cleaning brush and two additional ear bud sets in small and large as well as a charging cable.

My hearing loss is not too severe but I have loud pulsing tinnitus and drowning it out/distracting from it was my motivation for getting this. Boosting all the sound around me certainty does that. It also makes fans and ACs really loud too so it doesn't seem to do noise cancelling. It's a touch tinny/trebly on the sound but for this range is a good amplifier and does what I need it to. I dislike Bluetooth earbuds in my ears for the most part but the large tips made these comfortable (note: it's important to use the proper fitting tips of the multiple included to prevent whistling) and I was able to wear them much longer first time than any earbuds I've had. I don't have to wonder if what I'm playing to drown my ear-ringing is too loud and disturbing close neighbors and they help me hear conversations, so for all of that it's an easy 5 star.

I am in between love and hate on this pair of hearing amplifiers. I have been trying different amplifiers for a bit now without much luck finding one that would amplify voices and the tv without bad background noise. These work great to clearly hear tv and have a conversation. My issue is the volume control is too sensitive, if I just barely adjust the fit the volume cranks up. The screeching on higher volume level is pretty bad on these also but I only need slight amplification and they seem to be fine on lower volume levels. If it wasn't for such a finicky volume adjustment these would easily be a 4 star.
