Clips and lanyard arrive in "small plastic package", NO INSTRUCTIONS. VERY difficult to put onto BTE hearing aids. They hooked onto the volume control and caused LOUD DISTORTION of sounds. Very difficult to use with my arthritic fingers. I was able to get clip onto the back of my polo shirt, but I could not unhook it. I had my wife unhook it. I am returning it.

- I've been a bit worried about my BTE hearing aids because they are so small, and what with glasses, plus over-the-glasses sunglasses ((I need the all-around sun protection)) and mask elastic, well, it's easy for them to get knocked loose. - These little widgets are almost ridiculously simple, but perfectly-sized and very convenient. The silicone bands are a perfect fit in terms of both going around the body of the hearing aids, plus the height of them fits perfectly between the little opening of the receiver near the top, and the volume control underneath that. So, neither is blocked. Also, I can leave them on the aids when I put them into their recharger at night, so I don't have to fuss with constantly taking them off the aids and then putting them back on - the just stay in place. - The silicone bands have a little loop molded into them at the back, and a spring-clasp ((often called a "lobster clasp")) connects them to the cord. - I was concerned at first that the clasp would be uncomfortable, but I wore the holder on the aids for an entire day, and completely forgot about them, so they were not at all bothersome. - I have not yet tried using the lanyard with the complete array of straps and strings and earpieces and whatnot, but they seem to be out-of-the-way enough to survive the ordeal, LOL! And around the house, at least I can keep track easily of my hearing aids if I need to take them out for a bit. - So these are one of those "very useful things I hadn't previously thought of." ;)
