I couldn't resist the cuteness of this Axolotl plushie and decided to opt for it instead of a boring rectangle heating pad. And let me tell you, it was a fantastic decision! When that time of the month arrives, you deserve something special. Upon receiving the plushie, I was immediately impressed by its softness. It is incredibly cuddleable, just as it should be. The inside contains a packet filled with round beans(?), which you can take out and heat up in the microwave. However, I must caution that it does become quite humid when heated. While it may seem unusual, this feature actually helps to distribute the heat more effectively. Just make sure to air-dry the inside of this adorable axolotl after use. One unexpected but amusing aspect of using this heating pad is the way it can turn you into a kangaroo of sorts. You'll find yourself carrying this little plushie in your pant, and the axolotl's head will adorably stick out like a joey. This the 3rd plush I have bought from happy fuel!! The design is very cute, an axolotl!! My daughter has a pink one, my niece wanted a black one, and I just got a purple one delivered for my wife. My wife uses it for her cramps and my daughter and niece use it for bedtime to help them fall asleep. The bag inside is compact and packs a lot of heat for the 1 min microwave time. What I would love to know if we could buy heating pad replacements. I've noticed if microwaved repeatedly or longer than 1 minute advised time frame a brown discoloration will form on the pad cover. Comes with detailed instructions on how to clean. Very soft and easy to heat/chill. The opening that holds the clay bead bag is well hidden in the back of the axolotl, which makes it very comfortable to hold not matter what side you use. I also love how they gave her the name Lilly.
