We just received our umbrella in Teal and love it. Components are all very well made. Easy/intuitive to set up; hammer action is great for a quick setup, and it stays in place in the sand. The fabric is a good sturdy gage and I really like that it is silvered on top - as it blocks most all light, plus protecting the main fabric from UV damage over time. See attached pic to show shade and size for 2 people. I'm truly glad this doesn't have an angle adjustment. It might be convenient but it is a point of weakness. I've read multiple umbrella reviews where this part has failed so I'd rather not have it. Padded shoulder strap is nice. Be sure sure not to lose the vinyl protector for the hammer tip. This will help keep it from wearing on the case. The hammer part goes in the zipper section - you can see this in a few reviews. The case also has a little mesh pocket to store what-nots. From what I've read, there is a redesigned clasp/runner for 2026 which has been improved. Some reviews show where this part failed - but these were older models. It's good that Handy Beach is paying attention to this and changing their design for the better! This costs more than others - but it is well worth it in my opinion. Would buy again. ... show more

As a Florida beachgoer, I have experienced quite a few shades, including a wind-powered one, but it was frustrating for me. I just wanted a sturdy umbrella, and this one is by far the best quality for the money I have found. • Great design: It really does go into the sand so easily — I've never had an easier install than this. • Heavy duty: You can feel and see the quality. • Shade: It’s not a see-through nylon, so you do feel better protected. • Wind resistant: We had about 18 mph winds and it holds beautifully. I love this umbrella. It is heavier to carry than other umbrellas but, so worth it when you set it up. Hammering action is genius and it is so stable and secure. It just feels nice to use, nice materials, solid. The only negative, as others have mentioned, the carry bag is really ingenious- the two pockets, extra wide padded strap, it's a great design but the fabric feels a little thin. I see threads coming loose at the shoulder strap and I have only used it a few times. So that is worth looking at but, umbrella is so satisfying, it can overcome a lot of minor negatives. I was so tired of wrestling with traditional screw in umbrellas. It took me 30 seconds to put up this umbrella. It’s super steady in wind, and very secure. It’s a bit heavier than traditional umbrellas on the market, but I’ll trade off the weight for the ease of installation.

Amazing umbrella — sets up in seconds! I found it hard to believe, but it really does just take seconds to install and did a great job staying put in the wind while providing great shade! Any beachgoer will appreciate how well this is built and it is well worth the investment.. Good job, Handy!

We absolutely love this umbrella! It’s so easy to put up! It feels sturdy and safe on windy beaches. The company is also awesome! We lost the PVC cap and reached out to them to see if we could get a replacement and they never hesitated. They shipped a few out to us the next day. I have only had this umbrella for two days but I am impressed by the build quality of the pole. Hopefully the canopy holds up over time. The bag is nice but the stitching on the strap to the bag is horrible. First time I put it on my shoulder the stitching started to pull out from the shoulder strap to bag connection. If you’re going to build a premium product don’t skimp on the quality of the bag to carry it. Other than that I love it. ... show more

This is awesome. Love the umbrella and the technology associated with not chasing your umbrella. It's very well made. I give them 0 stars just for making me advertise it. There is a name on the umbrella which I don't care for. Yes I think it's well made. Today was the first day. Of course I was a little nervous about the weight of the metal pole. But, that's ok too. I used it as a cane. Carrying the umbrella light as it is on the back of my chair. It was very easy. I watched the video showing it going into the sand. I was a little worried it might be hard getting it out of the sand. Easy peezy! I took it out just to make sure I could with no problem as it was starting to get a little cloudy. It was easy to take out ... easy to put in. I'm 75. I had no problem at all. The umbrella did not hardly move 14 mph winds. I feel much more confident with this set up. Very 😊 ... show more
