I really like this bed! It was super easy to build all the parts, which fit perfectly, and it only took me a short time to put it together. The solid wood frame feels sturdy, and the natural pine color gives a nice, clean look to the room. The height is great for storage underneath, and it doesn’t squeak or move around. UPDATE: I’m taking it down to 1 star. I contacted the company about a warranty claim and never heard back. Now that the metal support post is bent, the bed wobbles all the time. It doesn’t stay put and scoots across the floor. It’s just about 1 year old and I know I need to replace it. I don’t think their advertised 5 year warranty is very valid. I wouldn’t suggest this for people with kids. Ours don’t jump on our bed, but they do have to hop up to get on it when they’re in our room. It’s caused the bed to scoot across our hard floor. Now the metal support legs in the middle of the floor are bent and have scratched into our hard flooring. We’ve had the frame for less than a year and consistently have trouble with screws being loose so the bed wobbles. When we tighten it back up, it helps, but who wants to crawl under your bed every other month because screws are loose? We have the king size. Our mattress is heavy, but well under the weight limit. My husband and I are not large people, either. I like the platform style and height. I’m giving 2 stars because maybe it would work better in homes without young children. For us, it hasn’t worked well and I’m frustrated our floor is now damaged, too. ... show more

I purchased a new mattress and failed to realize I would need a platform bed. I ordered this the night the mattress arrived and it was at my door the next morning! Wow! It was well packaged and the assembly was easy. I really liked the included ratchet allen wrench since it made the job go quicker. There were no damaged pieces and the bed feels very sturdy. I got the Cherry color and it goes well with my other bedroom furniture. A good value for the price I think. The 12" was out of stock so I ordered the 16" platform. In hindsight I'm glad I did because the cats can easily walk underneath it and I can see where they are. With the higher platform and a 12" mattress it does have me sleeping 28" above the floor and makes my nightstands appear short but overall I'm happy with my decision and the product. EDIT: I've had this bed a little less than a year and I noticed when I went to change the sheets today that the frame had some sway to it. So I got the ratchet allen wrench and tightened down all the bolts again. Some were quite lose! I'm the only one who sleeps in the bed (with a couple of cats) and I'm not heavy so I would recommend you keep an eye on the tightness of the frame to avert any problems. ... show more

I needed two queen sized bed frames that I could push together to create a “family bed.” I ultimately chose this platform bed frame because the mattress sits directly on the edge with no “lip” creating minimal space in between of the two frames and allowing the frames and beds to sit flush together. I bought the frames that are 16” above ground and I have 14” mattresses on top creating our preferred bed height while also allowing ample storage underneath if needed. The frames were packaged well so everything arrived intact and undamaged. We were able to set up the frames relatively easily and quickly with the tools that were provided. Sticker grips for the bottoms of the feet were provided as well so the frames don’t move, slip, or scratch on our hard wood floor. So far the quality of the bed frame and value for what we paid is well worth it and exactly what we were looking for. 100% would recommend frame if you’re trying to create a family bed. ... show more

Don’t sleep on buying this bed (no pun intended)! Solid wood, easy to put together; took only about 20 minutes, love the Velcro on the slats to keep them in place, and the height is amazing. I won’t feel like I’m sleeping on the floor like most platform beds, but it’s also not so high you need a step ladder to get into it. I feel like this is very sturdy and will last a long time. I got this bed frame about 4 months ago. It was a very easy straight forward build process, had it together in about 35 minutes. It fits my mattress in a box mattress very well and the added adhesive strips makes for no slipping especially while trying to change the sheets. It adds a nice wooden look to the aesthetic of my room that I really like. I teetered between 2 and 3 stars because as I’ve said the looks and easy set up is great. However the most important part of the frame is durability and longevity. The legs seem to have come loose somehow despite me making sure that I tightened every bolt adequately (not too tight and not too loose). This is super concerning as obviously it affects functionality and comfort. While I sleep I shift and a couple of times I’ve woken up due to the shifting in the legs which has ultimately affect my sleep quality. I really like the bed frame but I fear I’m going to get another one again. I understand in the grand scheme of things this is a budget frame, but had I expected $50 bed frame quality I would have stuck with my old metal frame. Thanks. ... show more
