We needed a new mattress platform/frame for a while. I had a cheapo metal one that I bought years ago, when I bought a new mattress, that eventually had all of the welds crack on all four corner legs. It held the bed up, but there was a lot of wobble, play, and creaking/squeaking. We wanted something different, and preferably wood. This was one of the cheaper options I came across, and some of the color options I liked were even on sale. I really paid attention to how the corner legs and joints were designed, and I had a strong hunch that this one would hold up better than the junky metal one we were getting rid of. So far, so good. No creaking or wobbling. It was pretty easy to install, and everything went together well. Would recommend. Only small complaint is that the wood appears to be stained but not finished. I could put something on it myself, and might in the future. But at this price point I don't think that's crazy. I assume higher priced frames would have a higher finish quality. ... show more

I am 100% happy with this frame. There was a little confusion over the delivery, but it eventually worked out. This is a very attractive and well made piece. I read in one review that the instructions were not the best, so as a result I approached them with an open mind, and not expecting great instructions. That said, they weren’t bad. The scale of some of the illustrations is off. Once I got past that, the instructions were easy. Luckily, my husband and I both put it together, which made it super easy. One person could certainly do it, but much easier with two people. Everything seemed to fit into place perfectly. No missing parts, but there were a few extra parts (labeled as such) which was reassuring. Also, the little tools were great. We love how it looks. Perfect for our small bedroom and it could go with so many styles. I am using a couple of under bed storage containers and they can push under enough that they don’t show, yet we can still easily access them. For the price, this is deal of the century! I was so frustrated over the delivery glitch that I almost cancelled. I am SO glad that I didn’t cancel. This is an excellent product, an excellent value and a well thought out design. ***Update: after having the frame for less than a month, one corner leg was very wiggly even with all the screws tightened! I had to screw in (4) 1inch corner braces to each corner leg in order for it to stop swaying back and forth when you moved on the bed.*** Packaging was good! All parts were not damaged in the shipping. 4 easy steps to assemble. Leg 1 goes to side 1 of A, Leg 2 goes to side 2 of A, ... The mattress slat boards were easy; they even had Velcro to stick to the frame. The only thing I had an issue with was the black sticker grips were hard to find on the instructions and they kept coming off the bottom of the legs. ... show more

Move over, IKEA! We are so glad we didn't stand in long lines to purchase a more expensive bed made with particle board or unfinished pine. This was a fantastic purchase and we couldn't be happier...item was delivered 1 day after we placed our order. Item was well-packaged and packaging was in good condition. It required two people to move the box upstairs, but one person was able to assemble it without help. No tools required and instructions were easy to follow. Frame is sturdy and beautiful!
