This is a very small coop. It assembles very quickly (30 minutes from opening pkg to completion) and the instructions are clear and concise (I'm a 60yo woman). It is solid, but the wire mesh is thin so I wouldn't recommend it if you have predators or dogs that have a prey drive. They could get into the enclosure with a little work ( my aggressive mini Dachshund would be able to). Nice little cage for 1 small Bantam type chicken or a rabbit. Great price for what you get. I purchased this for baby chick's. They will definitely outgrow it in about a month. I put a chair and a toy excavator next to it so you could see it's size for comparison. ... show more

We needed a place to move brooding Chickens.. We have a small yard so the size is perfect for 1 hen for a couple of days. Not large enough for chickens to stay long term... but that is not what we were looking for.

We moved our newly feathered chicks into this before introducing to the rest of the brood. Only down fall is that there is not a door going into the coop from the ramp. We are training the chicks to stay in the coop. Needed to build a door to lock them in at night. Otherwise it's sturdy. And a good value. Easy assembly. ... show more

When I received my package the first thing I noticed is the box was damaged during shipping and then when I opened my package, the wood feels like it is the cheapest wood you can buy. There are cracks in the wood all over the place so I don’t even know if it’s going to hold up properly and for $120 I could have bought a 10 times better cage from Petco. It’s not worth your money it does not feel like it would be useful at all and Wood feels so cheap that it might break while building it. It is not worth your money.
