My 4 year old son loves this toy. I like that it is made out of solid wood and seems to be durable enough to stand up against a rough-and-tumble kid. The only thing I would change about it is that the golf bag is just a touch too small and it is a pretty snug fit to get all the parts inside it. It requires an adult to strategically place all the pieces in the bag so they all fit. It would be nice if it were large enough that my kid could just throw everything inside without me having to help him. But that wouldn't stop me from recommending this toy over other toy golf sets. Would def purchase again.

Would be better if we had some nice trimmed grass area or thicker carpet. The balls are round and smooth, and so hard to keep still to hit. But my child LOVES this. The clubs are almost too short for him though. He's 5 and about 40" tall, for those of you needing reference. We took an old rubber garden hose and made a bit of a mini golf course for him, complete with soup can 'tunnels' and block 'bumpers' along with the bumps provided in the kit. Being wooden, the clubs are nice and sturdy. When my boy was 2 someone got him a plastic toddler's set and it was bent and twisted in a week. These are solid. We like! Wish I had found these a year ago, since he's almost too tall already. But hey, for the price, even a half year out of them is worth it!!

I like this set because its wood and not plastic. But honestly, it didn't hold the interest my son (3yo) for very long. It's too hard to get the ball through the different pieces and virtually impossible, even for an adult to get it in the hole. The balls don't roll fast enough on grass and they roll too fast on concrete. Also, because they are wood and sturdy, the clubs are a bit dangerous since kids like to swing things around. This is a good idea in theory, but it just didn't work for us. :(

Perfect size for my 4 year old. Great Plan Toys quality & everything fits in the carry bag it comes with. The ball is smooth though so it is hard to hit on a non carpeted floor. The challenging tracks haven't gotten much use- it's a little hard to hit over them and then into the hole.

This is a nice set for 2-5 year olds. The clubs would be too short for anyone older then 5. They will last longer then the plastic sets at the stores.

Plan Toys makes really beautiful toys and adheres to some great sustainability standards, so I knew going in to this purchase that I would love the Mini Golf set. My three year old son loves knocking the balls around, throwing them, stacking the pieces, and inventing new games. While he's not quite ready for golf in it's truest sense, he really enjoys playing with these perfectly proportioned clubs. Great for indoor or outdoor use, this wooden golf set was a great addition to his sports line up.

This is our second set because the first one the heads broke off. This time they broke off with in a couple uses. I have emailed to see if this was just a manufacturing defect or a design issue, but never heard back. We love that they are wood and our toddler loves them, but they break too easily to be worth the money.

The best part of the set are the golf clubs. They are the perfect size for my 3 year old but my 8 year old can putt just fine. They tend to create their own "holes" and ignore the ones that came with the set, but they're quite happy. If you have a Happy Gilmore, I suggest getting lightweight practice golf balls (the plastic kinds with the holes that are like wiffle balls) because the wooden balls that come with the set are really solid.
