  • Easy on the wallet and fun to use
Style: Red-13MM
Great paddle for the price. I wouldn't pay more than 29.99 though. Love beating other people with their 279.00 boomsticks! Lol. Great spin. Smallish sweet spot but good power if you hit it clean. Nice and light for fast hands battles. Feels like an extension of your arm so easy to control and direct placement. Not great for dinking as lacks softness with 13mm. Grip is fine. The 16mm is much better for dink battles. ... show more

  • Actually makes my game better, a lot better.
Style: Red | 16mm
I've been playing for about 2 years, once per week and really didn't think a better paddle would make any difference. I have been using a paddle from a starter set of 2 paddles that also came with pickleballs for $50. I only bought this because I noticed that the beginner paddle had an edge and I often hit the ball on the edge which would make the ball go wonky. So I bought this paddle just because it was edgeless. But after playing with it for 4 weeks now I noticed a couple of things. First, it was substantially lighter away from the handle which allowed me to have faster reflexes and get to shots I normally would not have been able to move fast enough to get with the old paddle. Part of that may be due to the hole that allows air to flow through it easier, not sure but I could feel the difference on the very first shot. Second, I play against people who have a good spin on the ball and I noticed that when a spinning ball hits this new paddle, the abrasive face seems to take all their spin off the ball and it leaves my paddle with authority instead of sliding off it like it did with the old paddle. Lastly, the old paddle seemed to have a small sweet spot which made my returns often too hard or too soft. This paddle has a much more consistent energy release across the entire face. This is one of the few low cost edgeless paddles I could find and I got it on sale under $40 and I could not be more pleased with it. Sometimes, you get a lot more than what you pay for. I bought it for the edgeless design but got the high friction face, light weight, and large sweet spot for free. ... show more

  • A very good paddle for under $100!
Style: Green-16MM
This is a very good (for the price) paddle. The weight and balance are good and the suface has good abrasive. It comes packaged much better than any of the $200 paddles I own, with a very nice padded cover, an extra grip and an eraser! A very good value! If you are fairly new to the game, do NOT buy an expensive paddle. This paddle (or one of many similar paddles) will suffice until you reach a much higher level and decide to spend at least $100 more for a slightly better paddle. ... show more

  • Good paddle with very competitive price
Style: Red-13MM
I started playing pickleball about five months ago, after years of competing seriously in both table tennis and badminton. I began by using a very cheap paddle to train my wife, but once I committed to learning the sport myself, I picked up this red 13 mm paddle for a power-and-spin style of play. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Despite being so inexpensive, the paddle delivered great spin, solid power, and—thanks to its lower swing weight—it felt incredibly fast at the net. Although 13 mm paddles typically have a smaller sweet spot compared to 16 mm or 20 mm paddles, I had no trouble adapting. After four months of casual summer play, I reached a DUPR 4.0 level, and with more serious practice I’m confident I can push toward DUPR 5.0, just as I did in my table tennis and badminton days. I also tried several top-end JOOLA paddles from friends. They offered some advantages, but also some drawbacks, so for now I’ve stayed with this paddle while I decide how serious I want to get with the sport. The packaging was surprisingly premium. I’m giving the paddle 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: Durability – The surface texture wore smooth after about 3–4 months (playing 4-5 hours per week), which my friends tell me is common even with $200+ paddles (still hard to imagine replacing expensive paddles that often). I opened a new one recently, and the performance was back to perfect. Grip – The grip itself is comfortable, but it becomes a bit slippery when I sweat. There’s an extra overgrip included in the box, though I’m undecided about replacing the original since it hasn’t worn out yet. A question for customer service: Can you please confirm that the surface wear I experienced after 3–4 months of regular play is normal for this paddle and not a manufacturing defect? I want to make sure my experience matches the expected lifespan of the textured surface, since I really like this paddle and have already purchased several backups. The price during Black Friday was outstanding—under $30—so I bought four extras to cover all of 2026, assuming a 3–4 month lifespan per paddle. Even with that replacement cycle, it’s still far cheaper than using a $200+ JOOLA paddle. I also picked up a 14 mm JOOLA to compare, and I’ll update this review once I test it. Overall, for the cost, this paddle delivers remarkable performance and value. ... show more
