I was skeptical about buying one of these. I was anxious that my cat would somehow get injured using an auto litter box as I have heard horror stores, but this one works super well. It's a sleek, simple design equipped with sensors so it knows when your cat is approaching or inside the box. It cleans it immediately after they are done which really helps with the smell because everything goes in this pullout box underneath. My cat took to it immediately, although, I could see how others would need some additional coaxing. I liked how easy it was to assemble. I also think the app is really cool and intuitive. I liked all the data it had on there which was unexpected, such as my cat's weight. It really makes things easy. I thought for the quality and all the features you get, the price was worth it.

Absoulutely fabulous! Believe me I looked , researched, and watch a million video reviews of different brands before pulling the trigger on buying this. And I'm super happy with the purchase. I will say the litter brand you use does make a difference because clumped litter (after machine scoops) does sit in the bottom litter pan. I used Arm & Hammer clump & seal litter and nooo it still had horrible odor. But I changed to Tidy Cat Glade litter and it has very little to no odor. I do have the time set to run 10 mins after my cat uses it, this gives the litter time to absorb all moisture befor running clean cycle. You can adjust run time on the app. Only down side is the orange scoop grate is does take a lot of pressure to reclip in when I clean out the whole box once a month. Im afraid with so much pressure to clip back in Im going to break it. But overall its great size, for my cat that weighs 12 pounds, functions well / quiet, very easy to use, saves time/ worry, and my house smells fresh :) Oh and its great knowing my cats weight...gives me peace of mind when I know he's gaining or keeping a steady healthy weight.

Works great but the app keeps giving me a 1002 error and I've tried everything from reseting both the app and the box to movinging it closer to my router and even connected it to both 2.4 and 5.0 connections.

This works well and my cat took to it immediately but the SMELL is awful!!!! My $20 petco manual litter box barely had any smell and this starts smelling immediately. Definitely returning.

I’ve had this for a few weeks now. It is overall great! I like that you can customize how soon after a cat uses it that it cleans, but I keep it at 1 minute to minimize odor. The app tells you when you need to change the collection bin (for my 2 cats, it’s about every 4-5 days). It keeps track of how many times each day the litter box was used, and the cats weight which is nice. The app log is a little confusing to read though. It was easy to set up and took me maybe 15-20 minutes to figure it all out. I use a clay based litter in it. I like that it stops when it senses motion in the entrance, which keeps my cats safe. Sometimes it takes a while to clean because they keep sticking their heads in to investigate, even weeks later. It is also very quiet! IMPORTANT— make sure to check when the litter runs low, and refill the litter or it creates a poopy urine mess that the cats hate. It can be hard to deep clean if you don’t have a hose to spray out the bin and once the poop/pee dries. I got it on a Black Friday sale and think it’s worth the money. Having multiple cats, I had to scoop multiple times a day, but now, I only have to empty the collection bin a couple times a week. It’s good at minimizing odor (but is not perfect obviously). I do keep a few odor removing items near the box and an air purifier running constantly. The one downside is gnats tend to grow in the collection box… haven’t figured out how to stop that yet. I do add baking soda to the collection bin and litter to help with odor. Overall, I like it. It is large and takes up a good amount of space due to its height. I would also maybe add a non-slip litter mat under, since litter tends to come flying out when the cats leave, and it gets everywhere. The step does a good job of collecting litter from the digging and I vacuum around the box daily to get litter off the floor.
