Why did we wait so long to get an automatic litter box scooper?!?!? I am going to give a detailed and honest review of this specific product below. Context: We have 4 cats that share a little box area and 8 cats total (that is not a typo). We scooped DAILY and still had odor issues after a few days after trying a million cat litter types. Pros: PRICE. We could not bring ourselves to spend $800 on the leading self-cleaning box. We got this on a black Friday sale and ordered two. - Price - Easy to set up with WiFi to our phone - Easy to assemble - They work! They have an auto setting, manual setting and you can pause it for overnight so it doesn't wake you. - they look good - EXCELLENT for small spaces/ apartments. Cons: they are small. We have two really big cats (not fat, long and lean). If pee hits the rim of the containment area, it will leak out and onto the floor or the step up shelf that comes with the unit. We simply place a pee pad under it and problem solved. This con can be a pro if you have a very small space. But if you have maincoon cats or large lanky cats, you will likely need a larger unit. -- Despite the small size and pee snags, I still gave it four stars for the price. If I have paid $300+ and it was this small and had the same issues, I would not be happy. My advice for ANYONE first using an automated box for the first time: DO NOT turn the box on for a week. We made this mistake. It freaked out one of our cats and he refused to use unit one. We set up the second unit and thankfully after 2 weeks he started to use it. We kept them on manual clean to I could control when they cleaned so as not to scare the cats. After two weeks we have it set to auto mode. Tip 2: if you have a cat that refuses to use covered litter boxes, any self-cleaning box with a cover may not be an option for you. Our blind cat is having issues adjusting, we ordered an open top self cleaning box for her to see how it goes. Tip 3: and this harkens back to the 1st advice- please resist the urge to scare your cat when it is checking out the unit. I realize humans get a kick out of scaring the crap out of their cats (then wonder why their cat hates them), but if you really want a self-cleaning litter box, you have to make this thing as un-scary as possible or they won't use it and you will only have your self to blame.

I only gave a one because it’s easy to assemble. Upon receiving and assembling same night, connecting it to the wifi and everything the drum doesn’t turn to clean when using the app/manual cleaning option nor after my cat used it. I googled every trouble shooting there is with this brand and nothing worked. The motor that makes it turn to clean the liter didn’t work from opening the box. Not sure if it happened in shipping or what. I’m set to get a refund and return it so hopefully the next one i buy won’t have this same issue upon unboxing. (I won’t be getting this one again)

When I initially considered purchasing this automatic cat litter box, I was quite conflicted — unsure if it was truly as good as advertised, or just another overpriced novelty. To my surprise, it not only met, but far exceeded my initial expectations, completely changing the way I take care of my cat’s daily needs. The first thing that attracted me was its design: smooth lines, simple and stylish, perfectly integrating with modern home decor, unlike the clumsy and ugly styles I had seen before. But what really impressed me was how quickly my cat adapted. I had read many terrifying stories about cats refusing to use new litter boxes, but on the first day, my two cats used it without hesitation, comfortably, which saved me a lot of trouble and trial and error. Another major advantage is that it doesn’t make much noise during the cleaning cycle. My old cat is particularly easily startled and often gets scared by loud noises, but this litter box works without causing it much attention. Whether we run it during the day when we are at home or at night when everyone is asleep, the low humming sound doesn’t disturb — this is in sharp contrast to the noisy and clattering sounds of some manual litter boxes I had used before. The integration of this application in terms of convenience is also quite surprising. Through the connected application, I can check the amount of waste, monitor the cleaning cycle, and receive immediate reminders when the waste bin is full — all of this can be done on my phone, even when I’m at work or traveling. This feature eliminates the need for daily manual checks; I no longer need to guess if it’s time to empty the bin, and the sensor always accurately detects when a cleaning cycle is needed, ensuring the box remains fresh and hygienic at all times. In terms of performance, each cleaning cycle goes smoothly. The litter box efficiently combs the litter, separating the waste from the clean particles, without leaving any clumps, and the drawer has good sealing properties, locking in the odor.

I love it for the price. That being said don’t expect a litter robot when you’re paying exponentially less. I would try to find one that is higher on the front so the litter doesn’t fall out when it is rotating. Overall for price and the way it looks, I love it. I’m not scooping poop so I’m happy. Just hate having litter all over my floor even with two mats down.

5 month update— I agree with everything I said below. It’s still working great and my cat is still intrigued and likes to watch it do the cleaning cycle. I’ve found it really reduces odor when baking soda is mixed into the litter— this also stopped the gnats in the collection bin! The only thing I wish was different was that there was a higher lip on entryway since my cat manages to kick lots of litter outside the box. I’ve had this for a few weeks now. It is overall great! I like that you can customize how soon after a cat uses it that it cleans, but I keep it at 1 minute to minimize odor. The app tells you when you need to change the collection bin (for my 2 cats, it’s about every 4-5 days). It keeps track of how many times each day the litter box was used, and the cats weight which is nice. The app log is a little confusing to read though. It was easy to set up and took me maybe 15-20 minutes to figure it all out. I use a clay based litter in it. I like that it stops when it senses motion in the entrance, which keeps my cats safe. Sometimes it takes a while to clean because they keep sticking their heads in to investigate, even weeks later. It is also very quiet! IMPORTANT— make sure to check when the litter runs low, and refill the litter or it creates a poopy urine mess that the cats hate. It can be hard to deep clean if you don’t have a hose to spray out the bin and once the poop/pee dries. I got it on a Black Friday sale and think it’s worth the money. Having multiple cats, I had to scoop multiple times a day, but now, I only have to empty the collection bin a couple times a week. It’s good at minimizing odor (but is not perfect obviously). I do keep a few odor removing items near the box and an air purifier running constantly. The one downside is gnats tend to grow in the collection box… haven’t figured out how to stop that yet. I do add baking soda to the collection bin and litter to help with odor. Overall, I like it. It is large and takes up a good amount of space due to its height. I would also maybe add a non-slip litter mat under, since litter tends to come flying out when the cats leave, and it gets everywhere. The step does a good job of collecting litter from the digging and I vacuum around the box daily to get litter off the floor.

At first, I was skeptical about whether the price of this automatic cat litter box was too high. But it turned out that it was quite easy to use. I really like the appearance of this litter box - simple and elegant. Unlike the cumbersome and ugly styles I used before. I was originally worried that the cats would refuse to use it. It took the cats a few days to adapt to it, and now they are proficient in using it, saving me a lot of trouble. This application greatly facilitates my use. The connection process is a bit slow, and later I asked the customer service, who patiently answered and found that it was a problem with the network settings. This litter box needs to be connected to 2.4G WiFi. I can check the usage of the litter box and track the health information of the cats through my phone - all of this can be done without my personal operation, even when I'm out. I no longer have to guess or check every day. During the cleaning process, the sound won't scare my cats. That's really great. Unlike noisy appliances, even at night, its buzzing sound won't disturb my rest. The cleaning work is also excellent. It can sort out the garbage without leaving large pieces of garbage residue. The drawer design can lock out the odor and the effect is quite good - I will wipe this litter box every few days, and the overall cleaning is much easier than manually scooping cat litter. It simplifies my daily care process and makes my home cleaner and tidier. Currently, I really like this litter box.

As a fulltime college student, and work part-time with two jobs, time to clean up after three cats is a tight schedule to keep. I purchased this self-cleaning litter box as an experiment to see if I could free up some time. This is a game changer. My cats love it and so do I. It arrived earlier than expected, set up was a breeze, only thing during set up and it took me a couple weeks to realize, there is a specific way to attach legs so that the drawer does not catch on to them. The unit itself is quite when in operation. Cat box smell was gone within a week of beginning use. I went from completely cleaning out two cat boxes twice a week to emptying a bag once every 5-7 days. I use a lot less cat litter compared to before getting this unit. I do not have to vacuum around the cat box every day to keep up the stray litter that goes with traditional cat boxes. The mat catches everything and holds it within the mat. It is just so easy to clean, it is very light weight, and the cleanout mode makes it so easy when it is time to change the litter. I do recommend using clumping litter to help remove urine waste from the fresh litter. I have not experienced urine leakage from the unit as of yet. I will never go back to traditional cat boxes after this one. My dogs do not like it now that they cannot get to the waste (yuck). Now my mother-in-law is looking at getting one for her home of four cats.
