- EASY INSTALLATION Pipe mount bracket bolts directly to your trailers side frame with M10 1.5 hardware and fits frames 4.75 to 5.75 inches tall using optional bracket (TVJLMB sold separately). Mount installation requires 8 inches of clearance. Offers 14 inches of vertical travel from 11.5 to 25.5 inches, with an extended clearance design for simple swing-away stowage. The pull-pin swivel design locks the jack securely in place during transport and swings away when not in use.

TLDR; we make stuff that moves heavy stuff. How do you recommend propping up the trailer for installation? A few suggestions we have for propping up your trailer are using your existing jack, a stabilizer block, jack stands, or wood blocks. You will need at least 16-18” of height to properly install the JX. Can the center jack (JXC) be welded rather than bolted? Yes, at your discretion. Do I need to grease the gears before use? No, the JX will come already lubricated. We recommend greasing the internal gear system every 90 days. Please refer to the product manual. What is the load capacity of the JX? JX2-C & JX2-S: 1.2K lb standard lift, 600 lb lift with power drill, and 2K lb static capacity. JX5-C & JX5-S: 1.6K lb standard lift, 800 lb lift with power drill, and 5K lb static capacity. What is the recommended drill torque setting? We recommend keeping the torque setting as low as possible while still lifting the trailer. A heavier load will require a higher torque setting. Nice upgrade ! Sup high quality trailer jack. Using it on my venture trailer for 24 center console boat. Nice upgrade over the bulldog jack that failed after 5 years. ( bracket bent ). Love the powder coat. Pretty standard venture trailer and if you notice in the pix the height of the bracket holes leaves a gap - top bolts are not tight against the trailer there is a gap. - also the bolts are a bit short - had to remove the washers to get enough trrwad for the nuts. Both odd snafus because it’s a pretty standard venture boat trailer. End result. It’s bolted on snug - and it fk cations and looks great

I like that I was able to mount it just under bottom of trailer frame and mounted it in the middle of the 'V' section of the trailer arm and am able to rotate it 90 degrees and pin it out of the way. Its very fast and with my tilt trailer and small loads I can actually tilt the trailer up to 20 degrees using the 12 inches of lift. My trailer is small so others might not find this useful or possible. Its paint job is superb and tough. Just a well made product. No problems with it locking at full extension up or down as some have reported. I'm not sure it can handle more than about 500 lbs of tongue weight but thats fine for my 2,000 lb load limit trailer.

Honestly, I’m not sure my old trailer deserves a Jack this nice.😄 This one swivels to get it out of the way so I can open the back of my truck, or you can even take it off and store it in the truck or toolbox on the trailer just by pulling a pin. Using a drill to run it up and down is way faster. I have to use the crank once it gets some weigh on it, but I’m gonna try my big 1/2” drill and see if it’ll raise it by itself. Either way it saves a lot of cranking.

*WARNING* second Jack that has broken in just over a year. This current Jack was installed in Late September as stored for winter (not under load) I then got 1 summer of use in it on a boat trailer and now this spring it’s done. Will not fully extend the the crank handle and turns too hard to use a drill. Very disappointed for the price. I greased it and did all care and maintenance required.

This thing is awesome I have had no problem lifting my skiff on and off the truck idk excellent product, that said there is room for improvement, a swivel instead of the two piece design with pin would be an improvement, and it needs some sort of easy stopper to keep from wrenching your arm off when you reach the end of the lifting threads, if your thinking about buying Do it you won’t regret it

Side Swivel Mount Did Not Fit Shorelander Trailer Width

This is an awesome product. I bought the 5000 pound side mount swivel. Very sturdy. The Crank Mechanism works well with my 18 volt drill as long as you take your time. I have a 22' deck boat that weighs 4300 pounds dry. The Major Problem is… My Shorelander trailer Rails were taller than the Bolt Pattern and Back Plate holes would allow. Very surprised and never measured Trailer nor read the Jack Specs. I ended up putting the bottom bolts through the carrier under the trailer rail and then drilling a hole through the trailer frame itself so the top bolt could make it through the mounting plates. Seems to have worked but only used 2 weeks before winter storage. I will update more next summer. I also purchased the wheel that goes along with it. This is the best built Trailer Jack Wheel I have ever encountered amongst my 34 years boating. Glad I spent what seemed to be too expensive.

Just what I needed.

This jack works way better than I thought it would. I have to jack my boat up extra high because it is parked with the trailer pointed down hill. I have to jack it up so when it rains the water runs out. I bought the 5000 jack and put it on my 24 ft trailer with tandem axles. It works like a dream with my 18 volt screw gun. You need to run your gun on low if you need to go high with the jack because on high speed there will not be enough torque. When I come back from fishing this saves me a lot of time and energy. I highly recommend this jack.

It doesnt actually fit top to bottom with the bolt pattern, but the bottom bolts rest up against the frame and the top are hovering above the frame…still works as it should just doesnt look like it is installed like factory, still a way better design than the one it replaced…it is a great jack
