Android app is not available through Play Store, I did extensive research about the safety of downloading the un certified app. With AI help I feed the app installer into an analysis tool, I also have antivirus on my phone; I took the risk, and the version I have works fine, without any security problem that I can tell. Your experience may vary. iPhone app is certified. I plug this into a 240v 20 amp outlet through an adapter. I find this device to be much better than expected. A feature that really surprised me was it can tune the current demand in 1amp increments, allowing me to charge at a rate 10% higher than the 16amp increment of all other charges I have seen. I charge at 18 amps, and can charge at 20 for 2hours (for a top off). I'm very happy with this product, at this price. I just received and started to use it, if my opinion changes down the line I will update this review.

It is cheap plastic but it outputs the amperage listed. The app is probably spyware but you don't need it unless you need to change its output amperage. Outside of that it works as intended. It is getting 3 stars because of the off app store app. It outputs 11kw of AC power to the car. Given that comparable level 2 chargers are 300-500 dollars this one will support you on a budget. The NACS adapter it comes with is okay quality. To the lady who's unit just said stop or anyone else reading this, there is a red button the top right of the unit. That is an emergency stop button and when pressed it turns off power. To reset the emergency stop you spin the red button in the direction of the arrows. It will pop up and allow the unit to turn back on.

ABSOLUTE PIECE OF CRAP #1: They don't have an app for Android and don't use the site they list as it takes you to a fraudulent page that charges you $35! #2: This is NOT plug and play! This thing will not work and I have tried everything! Buyer beware DO NOT BUY THIS! And absolutely waste of time and money! It only states "STOP" and no where in their very limited literature does it state why it would say STOP. Will not charge at all!

Image in listing is misleading. The unit itself is considerably larger than it looks. That said it seemed to function properly after downloading the app and spending an hour and a half figuring it out. I think others who review this who thought maybe the app was spamware, we're overreacting because of all of the Chinese characters and language conversion required for setup. Warning though you will need a 60 amp breaker feeding your 220 volt outlet. If you only have a 50 amp breaker you'll get about 30 minutes before the breaker blows. After all this is a 48+ amp charger.

Buyer beware charge 3 times unit died will not come on accord to the manual support website is a store that sells plants. Amazon is helpful they are issuing a replacement.

This Level 2 EV charger has been a game changer! It charges my vehicle quickly and reliably at 48 amps, and the 25ft cable gives plenty of flexibility for driveway or garage setups. The WiFi smart app is a nice bonus for monitoring and scheduling charging right from my phone. Build quality feels very solid, and I like that it’s both UL and ETL certified for peace of mind. The NEMA 14-50 plug makes installation straightforward, and it works seamlessly with my vehicle (plus the included Tesla adapter was a great bonus). Overall, it’s fast, convenient, and well designed, exactly what you want in a home EV charger.

The GROWNEER Level 2 EV Charger has been a fantastic addition to my garage. It’s one of those products that feels like high-quality gear the moment you unbox it, and so far, it has worked flawlessly. Compared to the standard wall outlet I was using before, the charging speed is night and day—this 48Amp unit gets me back to a full battery significantly faster, which is a total game-changer for daily driving. Installation was incredibly easy since it’s a NEMA 14-50 plug-in; I just mounted the bracket and plugged it into my 240V outlet. I was also really happy to see that it came with an adapter for my Tesla, so I didn't have to buy anything extra to get started. The 25ft cable is thick and heavy-duty, and the included cable management hook keeps everything neat and off the floor. The smart features are a huge bonus, too. Connecting it to my 2.4GHz WiFi was simple, and the app's user interface is clean and very intuitive.
