I usually have a cup of tea before bed. I've been heating the water on a pyrex measuring cup in the microwave and then pouring it into a cup. This little tea pot makes it so much easier. It sits on the counter and it's ready to go. Just fill it, flip the switch and wait about 6 mins. It shuts off automatically when the water boils. And for me the size is perfect. It's 9" tall so fits nicely on the counter under an open shelf. Just be careful, the outside of the pot gets really hot. ... show more

This kettle is great and so cute. I flushed it with water 3× like the directions said you should do, and right after, put fresh water in the kettle and it made me some good hot coffee, i recommend this kettle, no leaks either! Love it!!!!!
