Seems like a sturdy product. It’s got strain reliefs on the ends of the hose and the brass looks to be nicely machined. The seals look to be of quality rubber so they should last a long time.

This 2-foot leader hose is a great fit for connecting a hose reel to the spigot. The 5/8 inch size gives solid water flow without any noticeable drop in pressure, and the hose feels strong yet flexible enough to work around tight corners. The brass female-to-female fittings are well made and thread on securely without leaks. It’s lightweight and easy to handle, which makes winding and unwinding the reel a lot smoother. The only small thing to watch is that the hose has a bit of memory when first uncoiled, so it might need a little time in the sun to fully relax into shape. Other than that, it performs exactly as expected and looks like it’ll last a long time. Great option for keeping your setup neat and efficient.

I had one flower bed located where I did not want to have to keep dragging my big hose over to. There was already a stationery hose running past there, so I bought this short one and attached to a splitter. It stays flexible at all times, and does not kink. Look to be good quality material.

I purchased this leader hose to replace another leader hose that connects to my hose reel. The leader hose I replaced was leaking and the quality of the hose material doesn't match that of the Giraffe Tools Leader Hose. While the Giraffe Tools Leader Hose has female connectors on both ends, I had to purchase a 3/4" GHT Double Male connector to make the connection to my hose reel fitting. So far, this Giraffe Tools Leader Hose is working just fine.
