When I opened this, my first thought was darn, this was really expensive to be this flimsy, but I had made the purchase needing it overnight and it arrived on time, so I went ahead and tried to use it. I put a garden sprayer handle on it and turned the water on. Worked fine for about 1 minute, then it spit the male end of the hose out. Our house water pressure varies between 40 and 60 psi, depending on how clean our water filters are. Today the gauges say max pressure is resting at around 50. ... show more

I needed a replacement hose for the one that was dry rotted and this one works well. It’s lightweight, but not cheap or thin. I have no problems with the water flow. It’s not kinking at this time. I find it to be a durable hose and is as described.

It's a decent hose but it's not kink-free; it's not even kink resistant. I had to create kinks, in the opposite direction, just to attach it without kinks. BTW those black sleeves at the end are just that, sleeves. They do not permit you to turn the coupling without kinking the hose.
