I bought two of these hoses after seeing it at a friend's house. I loved them immediately. They roll up easily on a hose winder, they are lightweight and maneuverable, and they don't kink. If you leave them out in the sun, the water will come out warm. Unfortunately, the end broke off of one of the hoses after two seasons of use. I contacted that manufacturer and they sent me a new hose to replace the broken one. It was super easy. I just had to send them my receipt (SAVE YOUR RECEIPT) and a photo of the broken part. I didn't have to send back the original hose, which was awesome. I received the new hose in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend this product. ... show more

I bought the 100 footer (best buy for the $). It is a pretty good hose in that it does NOT leak at the ends like numerous other flex hoses I have tried. Also does very well with not kinking when moving around and using. it is also an ease with winding back up to put on the hose rack. But... Do NOT run it over with your small (or larger) vehicle. I accidentally did it with my small car and it had a flatter spot in it. The hose still worked fine, but whether pressurized or not, it WILL at least distort when pressurized and completely flatten when not. Also, do NOT leave out when the temperature is at or below freezing. I forgot about it and the temp dropped. The very next day (after the temperature was back above freezing), the hose sprung at least three leaks. The flexible material inside the casing does NOT do well when it freezes. ... show more

Light weight, maneuverable and kink free make this style of hose a good choice generally speaking. However, the overall outside measurement is .624, measured with a digital caliper, so the inner rubber tube can't possibly be 5/8 OD let alone 5/8 internal diameter; which is how hose diameters are typically measured. The result is that the flow is insufficient to adequately supply a high coverage area sprinkler. Also, mine did NOT come with the ON/OFF valve as advertised. That would be a very handy feature if it were there. Those two features are what convinced me to purchase this particular product over the competitors. I don't much like being mislead, hence the one star rating. My past experience with this type of hose, "Bionic" and other flexible stainless hose brands, has proven that they are not really very tough. I am relegated to using a power chair, 390lb total weight, when doing yard work/gardening and have occasionally run over them on the driveway or sidewalk and that does damage them quite noticeably. The main drawback is that these hoses can't be repaired by simply splicing out the damaged area. So if you do anticipate occasional abuse, you might want to buy a few shorter hoses and link them for longer applications. That way if you crush one, you are not out the entire length. With that said, given my circumstances, I get along with these hoses pretty well. They are much easier to work with than the heavier, albeit more durable, rubber hoses. If only someone would make a 3/4 (19mm) outside diameter version to overcome the flow limitations. ... show more

This is the one you want! I needed a 100’ hose, and this is much easier to manage than a long rubber hose. After using it a couple years it developed a leak. But EMSON, the owner of Bionic Steel was very nice on the phone and sent a replacement with no hassle. Just had to email them my receipt and a pic of the hose.
