We've purchased 8 of these hoses for use at a local park, and 8 for our personal use. They don't kink, don't tangle, pull out smooth and easy, and don't get chewed by animals (a problem in the desert). We've had good luck with durability, as long as you don't run over them with any vehicle, but our neighbors say every one they bought leaked. The only real problem is that the first few my wife bought for use at the park came with brass shutoffs, which were super handy when you need to change tools at the end of a 100' pressurized hose, and also a good brass spray nozzle. After that, no more shut-off, and the nozzle is now cheap plastic. I wrote to the company to point out their pictures and feature list sometimes are right and most of the time are wrong and they offered to replace the hoses. I told them I just wanted the shut-offs that were shown in the pictures and the feature list... silence. ... show more

There is no spigot outside at my apartment, but I have a huge garden and man, was I tired of hauling water! This hose was the ticket. I hooked up a quick disconnect to my kitchen faucet, and I run the hose out my patio door. 50 feet is perfect to reach my entire garden. I coil it up into a bucket after draining it after every use. I like everything about it. It is exactly as advertised. I anticipated that it would take up much more space, and be more difficult to maneuver, but was pleasantly surprised at the ease with which I can use this. If I get another one, I will get a bigger one and expand my garden! ... show more

    • CAUTION: You never know what you are going to get

I’ve purchased this item 3 times. The 1st Pro came as I ordered, with the shut off valve. The hose was great and I gave it a 5 star! So, I ordered through “buy it again”. It came without the shut off valve, even though this valve was clearly shown in the photo. I needed the hose and bought a nozzle that was “good enough, I guess” to compensate for the lack of the valve. Fast forward a couple years later (both hoses working perfectly), I need another hose, for a different location. This time what is offered is the hose, with a shut off valve, and a free nozzle. It arrived with a kind of cheap nozzle, and believe it or not, NO valve! This hose is great! Lightweight, snakes around my plants without destroying them, produces just the right amount of water (especially with the shut off valve!), however it’s not easy to put back in the box, and then take it to a center for a “free return”. I’m keeping this hose because it isn’t raining and my freezer needs the food that I am growing. But the company gets a -1 star for false advertising. ... show more

Game changer IWas skeptical , after too many disappointing, and some disastrous experiences with other hoses- those that kinked-, or were too bulky and unsafe - ( one of which resulted in an injury due an unadvertised heft ) BUT this hose (50ft ) has it all!! Brass fittings ! Super water pressure - ( can wash a car ) ! Great for garden and lawn watering - allowing for ease of movement, lifting , and flexibility. Amazingly - DOES NOT KINK ! Very fluid and versatile. Actually , though sounds odd, this hose looks stylish and resulting in comments on how nice it looks ( who knew, right - a hose generating buzz) .. Pros: Great pressure Great attachments Super light Excellent maneuverability Excellent packaging No kinking or tangling ( OR “ inflating the hose to avoid tangling “ as many other “ no kink “ brands instruct ( which is code for : wrestling the hose with blood sweat and tears ). But - Nothing but ease of use here In summary : This hose adds value and enjoyment to the experience of using a hose I plan to buy another. Anyone who has arthritic , orthopedic- issues or injuries - should consider this hose.     • There's No Cut-off Valve on the Hose

The hose is great just be aware that if you are buying this hose because it shows on the picture, and in the description, that it has a cut-off valve on the hose, it does not have one. You will have to buy one to screw onto it. I ordered this hose specifically because it advertised that it had the cut-off valve. The one I received did not have the valve. I kept it anyway because I had gone ahead and used it and didn't want to have to go through the hassle of draining it and returning it. I ordered a second one, thinking the first one was possibly just a fluke and the second one would have the valve. It did not and I returned it and ordered another brand hose that did have the cut-off valve. I'm now ordering this hose again because the new hose I ordered with the valve is a smaller diameter and, therefore, I assume, has less pressure. I'm also ordering cut-off valves to add to these hoses. The hose itself would be five stars, but because it was not as advertised, I could only give it four stars. ... show more
