This is a different sort of hose. It has brass fittings versus aluminum fittings on others. This is important because aluminum fittings will adhere to a hydrant and a person won't be able to remove the hose in the near future. The hose is black and soaks up the sun. I have to be sure to leave the hose an opening so the hose doesn't burst in the sun. It is a nice hose. It is easy to drag around. However, if you have any bare ground, I have found that the hose loves to pickup dirt. While it is a good hose, I probably would not buy it again.

First I ordered 25ft once received it was definitely not 25 ft. So I returned it. So I went ahead and ordered the 50ft one they have it advertised everywhere it’s “kink free” well it’s not and it took me nearly 20 mins just to water my grass. Sad to say I just wasted my money for this to sit on the side of my house I don’t have the patience to do another return so I’m back to using my old one. The seller needs to do better I don’t know how they have good reviews for this item. Maybe the short ones work better and it’s kink free but the 50ft one is definitely not kink free and it’s cheaply made.

This is my second purchase. These hoses are great for lawn watering, car washing and so forth. My first one is a year old sits out all year and in the sun and it is still nice and supple.

I had high hopes for this hose. Unfortunately, my experience has been less than ideal. Pros: • Leak-Free Connections: I will say the hose does a good job sealing tightly at the fittings—no drips or unexpected sprays. • Durability: The heavy-duty hybrid polymer construction does seem rugged, and I appreciate the high-pressure tolerance. It feels like it could withstand some tough use. Cons: • Very Heavy: This hose is significantly heavier than expected, making it difficult to maneuver—especially for longer watering sessions or if you’re not particularly strong. • Kinks Easily: Despite the advertised kink-resistant design, I found it kinks frequently, especially when trying to navigate around corners or drag it across the yard. It’s frustrating and interrupts the water flow often. • Hard to Manage: The weight combined with its tendency to kink makes it a hassle to use and store. It doesn’t coil easily either, which adds to the struggle. Bottom Line: While it has some good features on paper, the actual user experience doesn’t live up to the hype. If ease of use and true kink-resistance are top priorities for you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. The hose might be built to last, but it’s just not practical for everyday use unless you have hose reel cart.

I am an ass. I don’t leave five-star reviews just to pad their reviews. I also have owned dozens of hoses in my 58 years, and feel let down by so many that promise things like “this is the last hose you will ever buy.” (One from Home Depot was actually branded, “The last hose you will ever buy.” It is no longer with us, so to speak.) Many hoses claim they are easy, flexible, strong, and reliable. This one actually is. Supple rubber, flexible and easy to move, lightweight, and yet strong. Instantly uncoils with no “memory.” Rarely pinches (and only due to “user error,” so to speak.). Sturdy connectors. I had to use a wrench to tighten it hard to the spigot because the spigot was old and corroded; no problem. I’ve used it for watering, car washing, pressure washing (hooking up to a pressure washer), and other things, and it is the best hose I have ever owned. I have the 100 foot length, which provides 50 more feet to crimp and bend and pinch and fail than a 50 foot hose. Nope. Easy to extend, easy to wind back up. A hose should not be something you notice. It should uncurl, not pinch, and just work without forcing you to “fight” it or struggle to not cause a pinch that cuts off the water. I highly recommend this hose.
