I am an ass. I don’t leave five-star reviews just to pad their reviews. I also have owned dozens of hoses in my 58 years, and feel let down by so many that promise things like “this is the last hose you will ever buy.” (One from Home Depot was actually branded, “The last hose you will ever buy.” It is no longer with us, so to speak.) Many hoses claim they are easy, flexible, strong, and reliable. This one actually is. Supple rubber, flexible and easy to move, lightweight, and yet strong. Instantly uncoils with no “memory.” Rarely pinches (and only due to “user error,” so to speak.). Sturdy connectors. I had to use a wrench to tighten it hard to the spigot because the spigot was old and corroded; no problem. I’ve used it for watering, car washing, pressure washing (hooking up to a pressure washer), and other things, and it is the best hose I have ever owned. I have the 100 foot length, which provides 50 more feet to crimp and bend and pinch and fail than a 50 foot hose. Nope. Easy to extend, easy to wind back up. A hose should not be something you notice. It should uncurl, not pinch, and just work without forcing you to “fight” it or struggle to not cause a pinch that cuts off the water. I highly recommend this hose.

This is a different sort of hose. It has brass fittings versus aluminum fittings on others. This is important because aluminum fittings will adhere to a hydrant and a person won't be able to remove the hose in the near future. The hose is black and soaks up the sun. I have to be sure to leave the hose an opening so the hose doesn't burst in the sun. It is a nice hose. It is easy to drag around. However, if you have any bare ground, I have found that the hose loves to pickup dirt. While it is a good hose, I probably would not buy it again.

I thought it would be a nice hose but I was wrong. Half way through the first season. the brass fittings blew off the end of the hose, so I bought an after market fitting. By the end of the first season, the outer layer of the hose began blistering, then sections blew up like a water balloon, then developed pin holes and started squirting water all over the place I cut off about 2 feet of the hose, places another fitting on the end, then it started blistering in more sections, and so on... As of now, I've cut off about 12 feet of this piece of junk hose. Sorry I didn't take any pictures, but I was busy wiping water off my face and drying my clothes...

I have a few issues with this hose. Pros: This is a lightweight and flexible hose. It will kink but doesn't damage the hose permanently. Cons: The ends are cheap and the gaskets they give you are junk. I bought 3 of these hoses and all 3 leaked at the bib connection. I tried to disconnect/reconnect, Teflon tape etc. Still leaking... I decided to try a different brand washer and no more leak. Also and this could be because I'm from Texas but i can feel the inner layer of the hose breaking at times when coiling it back up after use makes me really question long term durability of this hose. I wouldn't buy another one
