Was time for a new monitor and thought I would try this one. Out of the box it has everything you need to get it started. I have no complaints, the colours are very rich and deep. It also has multiple options for your display, so if you prefer DP, HDMI those are pretty much available. I unfortunately do have a small dead pixel but it isn't noticeable or bothersome to me, so I am just living with it for right now. Also the power cord is a bit on the shorter end but other than that, it is an amazing monitor that is well priced. If you're looking for a monitor on a budget that is expressive in colour and does it's job well, give this one a go.

Fantastic monitor for the price. The imaging on fast motion games and sports is amazing especially when using the 100hz refresh rate. The monitor has excellent visibility when you are looking at it from the side and not direct on as well, no image fading or color distortions etc. That being said, there are a few things to consider with this monitor. The first is the included stand. Its huge and heavy, made from steel. The monitor itself is feather light. If you are not using a multi-monitor or some sort of monitor stand framework, then you need to have some space for the included stand as its bigger than any other 27 inch monitor I have ever worked with. The second thing to consider it that this monitor uses and external custom power supply, something that might be difficult to repair or replace in the future. I prefer monitors with a standard ac power cord that goes straight to the monitor. Not a deal killer but something to take note of. Also the monitor imaging controls are located on the bottom of the monitor and a bit difficult to work with and program. If you are going to use this is a multi monitor config, be aware the the bezels are thin, BUT there is about a quarter inch of black space on the screen when you actually fire up the monitor.. so you end up with a large gap of screen space when you frame to monitors next to one another. Serious bummer. Bottom line, awesome for the price, much better than I expected from a monitor of this price. I would definitely buy this again, but sadly not for multi monitor configs. Look at the photo. Thin bezels are deceiving. Really hope the come out with a curved version and/or a 4k version of the same monitor, priced right that would a hard deal to pass up. Look forward to see what comes from Sansui in the future.

I ordered this monitor along with a mini PC and gaming keyboard to replace my laptop that crashed. My original order arrived quickly and was a very simple set up. Unfortunately, the monitor was defective and did not function properly, flashing through a series of white, red, green, blue and black screens upon powering on, eventually emitting a loud static noise which then cracked and popped. Powering off/on yielded similar behavior, occasionally bringing up SANSUI logo or even my desktop view, but always with the static noise going to black screen. The DC plug fit loosely in the port and the on/off button was not working correctly. It took a long time to power up, once it actually came on. After several hours of trouble shooting, trying alternate outlets, DC, HDMI cords, system settings adjustments etc , with no resolve, I contacted amazon for a return/replacement. My replacement order arrived within one day. This monitor had a better fitting power cord, the power button worked properly and it came up within seconds. No loud static, color screen flashes or crackling and popping. I did order a better quality HDMI cable, not that the one it comes with is bad. The monitor size is perfect and the graphics clear. I did notice the built-in speakers aren't the best, but at least it has them! They are much louder and clear with headset on. I am not running games, or doing any special graphics, it is primarily for work, editing my website etc. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. My only complaint is the power cord plug, which is rounded at the end with a mini-arc of seemingly useless plastic sticking ot the end which covers both outlets from top or bottom so you can't plug anything else in. Great if you have rotating plug-in into outlet. I had to purchase a multi-plug power strip so the mini PC could plug in. Good size and price.

Monitor is easy to use an easy to set up. Comes with a stand and very clear and easy to read instructions. Within five minutes or less, the monitor was set up, connected to my laptop, and ready to use. The sound and picture quality coming out of this monitor are absolutely Wonderful. No unwanted feedback noise. The colors displayed are beautiful and I have had no reason or need to adjust any settings. Highly recommended especially for the price point.
