(Edit below) With a great price and all the whining, I didn't expect much. I opened it, stretched it in the sun, and let it heat stretched for an entire day before using it. I used it to water flowers all over my property, where it had infinite opportunities to kink, and never once tried to. It's thick, and the fixtures are solid. If you can't use this product, it's not the product's fault. Thank you. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your servers. Update: This fall, my exterminator borrowed my hose to fill his tank. He put it away with a kink, and it sat in the sun for a few days like that. Now, it is permanently kinked. This is absolutely NOT the product's fault. The blame solely rests on my exterminator. I will give him the kinked hose as a gift (it still works fine, but kinks very quickly when it's moved around) and return to buy a new one this spring. Please don't buy. Very poor quality. The membrane inside the hose busted in just few months. Then the outside part started leaking in a different part of the hose. Very easy kinks and if you try to fix the kink it stays permanently flat . Here are few pics. I bought it trying to save few bucks but in the end I am forced to spend more money. Also the male part of the hose end is not secured enough and already coming out. Don't buy. ... show more

Love this hose, it is a little heavier than what I’m used to but it functions very well. I did noticed I had one area of the hose that was twisted. Overall not a bad hose, it looks like a sturdy hose.

This hose is great. The length is very convenient, and it feels solid and heavy-duty. I’ve already run it over a couple of times with no issues at all, which says a lot about its durability. It is very heavy, and that does make it harder to roll up on a hose reel, but I’ll gladly take that trade-off over a flimsy hose that kinks or fails. They are really good hoses. They work well on my farm, they're easy to use and once they're a little broken they're easy to maneuver. Good size. I've got both100ft and 150 ft hoses and they hold up really well, thick, good design. They're holding up really well on my farm.

UPDATE AFTER OVER A YEAR OF USE: 3 stars and only because it hasn’t fallen apart. I fight kinks constantly. It’s difficult to unroll and kinks even on a reel. It’s held up to the farm use but it’s aggravating to fight the kinks and once they form, they don’t leave. The material prevents the kink from coming out. From there, it just gets easier and easier to kink and it starts linking down the hose in new places. If you’re needing a hose that you can lay out and leave down; this is the one. If you’re looking for something to use in the garden, horse stalls or pasture water troughs; nope. PREVIOUS INITIAL THOUGHTS: I like these hoses so far. The swivel ends are nice. They unroll pretty easy but let it sit in the sun a bit to soften before you roll it back up. It prevents the kinks. Our uses are for garden, horse barns and pressure washers. ... show more
