(Edit below) With a great price and all the whining, I didn't expect much. I opened it, stretched it in the sun, and let it heat stretched for an entire day before using it. I used it to water flowers all over my property, where it had infinite opportunities to kink, and never once tried to. It's thick, and the fixtures are solid. If you can't use this product, it's not the product's fault. Thank you. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your servers. Update: This fall, my exterminator borrowed my hose to fill his tank. He put it away with a kink, and it sat in the sun for a few days like that. Now, it is permanently kinked. This is absolutely NOT the product's fault. The blame solely rests on my exterminator. I will give him the kinked hose as a gift (it still works fine, but kinks very quickly when it's moved around) and return to buy a new one this spring. I still stand by my statement: If you can't use this product, it's not the product's fault. ... show more

Had the hose less than one year, hardly used it. Use it twice a year to spray cutter in the lawn. Now I try to use it on a kids toy and it's trash. The fittings all leak around the hose. Definitely would not say this is heavy duty or high quality. I had a 25 ft lightweight Amazon no name 9 dollar junk that held up for 4 years it's just too short. It's also not kink free and quite heavy. I had to fight this thing often ... show more

Very heavy duty. So heavy, in fact, I had a hard time unrolling the hose. plus, I should of bought something shorter. I still had kinks in the hose. But the water came out fine. Gonna have to put it on a rolling rack. Unmanageable for me to use otherwise. 100' was way too big for what I needed it for. I only needed to water porch plants. So overall, heavy duty, very thick hose, durable materials, well made. But not flexible for me to just go out and water with minimum effort. I was more annoyed with myself because I wanted something with a 10 year warranty. That I didn't have to buy flex hose every 2 years or so. And made in America. What a pain, trying to find something on Amazon. That is made in the USA. ... show more

UPDATE AFTER OVER A YEAR OF USE: 3 stars and only because it hasn’t fallen apart. I fight kinks constantly. It’s difficult to unroll and kinks even on a reel. It’s held up to the farm use but it’s aggravating to fight the kinks and once they form, they don’t leave. The material prevents the kink from coming out. From there, it just gets easier and easier to kink and it starts linking down the hose in new places. If you’re needing a hose that you can lay out and leave down; this is the one. If you’re looking for something to use in the garden, horse stalls or pasture water troughs; nope. PREVIOUS INITIAL THOUGHTS: I like these hoses so far. The swivel ends are nice. They unroll pretty easy but let it sit in the sun a bit to soften before you roll it back up. It prevents the kinks. Our uses are for garden, horse barns and pressure washers. ... show more
