(Edit below) With a great price and all the whining, I didn't expect much. I opened it, stretched it in the sun, and let it heat stretched for an entire day before using it. I used it to water flowers all over my property, where it had infinite opportunities to kink, and never once tried to. It's thick, and the fixtures are solid. If you can't use this product, it's not the product's fault. Thank you. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your servers. Update: This fall, my exterminator borrowed my hose to fill his tank. He put it away with a kink, and it sat in the sun for a few days like that. Now, it is permanently kinked. This is absolutely NOT the product's fault. The blame solely rests on my exterminator. I will give him the kinked hose as a gift (it still works fine, but kinks very quickly when it's moved around) and return to buy a new one this spring. This hose it turns out is worse than my previous review of it, which follows below this update, in 70* and higher so far a high of 80 * this hose is stiff stiff as a coil of solid rubber, it just wants to remain in a coil, HORRIBLE to try and work with, GARBAGE, my sample of this product is as difficult to use as the cheapest plastic hose you could ever find , a waste of money. my original review follows. I just realized that this subpar hose is a sold as AMAZON suggested purchase, which gave me hope that this was of good quality and as good as the seller claimed it was, it is not! I will never again use Amazons recommendation to buy as a reason to buy a product, It is clear that whomever gives these recommendations to products has no real knowledge of what the product is, how it will be used, what is the expectations of the product is etc., I now feel it is nothing more than a boost to the seller or some other corporate deal to increase the sales no matter what. The price point was very good, the best part of this hose was the solid brass fittings, and even that was compromised by the female fitting having a very odd thin brass tubing sleeve inside of it that had very sharp edge on its circumference .The hose is fairly stiff and holds a memory when stored rolled up which is annoying. I thought this was a heavy duty rubber hose... seems more like a type of plastic and is lower quality medium duty. I am not buying more of these , this was a buy and try for the five more I need, so the search continues for a decently price HEAVY_DUTY hose. ... show more

I have been using this hose with a power washer as well as watering plants on my deck and garden. The connectors seal properly and it has not leaked. This hose is easy to move around and roll up on a hose reel. I have only experienced one kink when moving the hose around in the 2.5 months that I have used it. I would buy it again. ... show more

Great value. Probably the best price I could find for a quality such as this. Not one of those thin, cheap hoses that kinks easily. Also. This hose is long enough for any job id need it for. The connectors are also easy to use and connect well.

I purchased 3 of these hoses for a sprinkler setup in a newly seeded lawn. They were inexpensive. My plan was the cut them into various lengths anyways so i had new end fittings to use but kept the factory ends on where they were needed. The male factory end is not good and leaks significantly. This was the case on all three hoses, so I ultimately cut the male ends off and replaced them. The female ends are made of huge chunks of aluminum and so far have held up well.
