Alright, folks, let me tell you about the latest addition to my home gym/torture chamber: the GIBBON GiBoard Balance Board. I saw it and thought, "Hey, that looks like fun! And maybe I'll finally achieve the core strength of a seasoned tightrope walker!" What I got was a beautiful piece of American maple wood that immediately highlighted just how terrible my balance truly is. The first time I stepped on this thing, it was less "graceful balancing act" and more "Bambi on ice, but with more flailing." My ankles wobbled like jelly in a hurricane. I'm pretty sure my dog thought I was having some kind of seizure. The cats, of course, were utterly indifferent, probably plotting how to trip me for their own amusement. But here's the magic: it's fun being terrible at it! And the learning curve, while steep initially, is incredibly rewarding. After a few days of looking like a newborn giraffe, I started to get the hang of it. I can now stand on it for almost a whole minute without grabbing onto the nearest piece of furniture for dear life! This is major progress, people. This board is deceptively simple. No complicated parts, just a beautifully crafted piece of wood with a slackline on top. But it works your core, your legs, your ankles, and your spatial awareness in ways you didn't know were possible. I've started using it while watching TV, much to the amusement of anyone who walks in. My living room has officially become a low-stakes circus. It's also great for standing desk users. Instead of just standing there like a static human, you can subtly (or not so subtly) wobble your way to better balance and a stronger core. Just try not to fall over during your next video call. The build quality is fantastic – it feels sturdy and looks great. It's a piece of workout equipment that you don't feel the need to hide in a closet when guests come over. If you want a challenging, fun, and slightly humbling way to improve your balance and core strength, and you don't mind looking a little silly while you do it, get this board. It's a fantastic addition to any home, and it might just make you appreciate the simple act of standing on two feet a little bit more.

Bought this because I was bored, and I'd been seeing a lot of short videos about it. I'm in my 50's, definitely don't have the balance I had as a teen, but this is a fun way to try a slack line, and get some core engagement. My wife and kids like it too, no one walks by it without getting on it once or twice if it's out. I'm 6'1" and 195 lbs, and it handles my weight easily. Good stuff.

If you don't have one of these...if you are any age but espeacially if you are over 50...no joke...fun, easy, talk on the phone and do 20 min's just having fun on it...come on...be a kid again...two months in, my grandkids can't beat me on time on this thing and my core is stronger than ever.

I like the board a lot, it works well. When looking over GiBoards site it shows the board is made in the US. When I received the board there was a made in Mexico sticker on the deck. I reached out to GiBoard to see if I received a knock off board and they told me the decks are made in Mexico and the boards are assembled in the US... I'm sorry, but putting a strap on a deck made that's actually made in Mexico doesn't make it made in the US. I would have absolutely no problem buying something that was made in Mexico, just don't like that they omit this information and boast that it's made in the US when it isn't.

The best of the slack boards I've purchased. The other two were either great, but for people who weigh a lot less than me (185lbs.) or could not hold the slack line tight. This costs more than the others, but it works and I have had no problem with it. It's extremely well made and the app is really good for showing the different exercises and keeping track of progress. I am still a beginner and have not tried any of the advanced balance exercises. Overall I'm very happy with it.
