I've seen ads for Chirp here and there and thought it looked interesting, but I wasn't desperate enough to try it. That was before my chiropractor copay went up to $60. After weeks of righteous indignation and refusing to pay what seems to me a frankly outrageous sum for an 8 minute appointment, I saw the Chirp wheel on sale for Prime Day and the rest, as they say, is history. An adamant foam roller hater, I was skeptical about both the effectiveness and also my ability to not get myself killed by popping things that aren't meant to be popped. I got the deep tissue roller and I was even more skeptical when I saw how small it was. But I am here to tell you - though she be but little, she is fierce. The first roll was a little awkward as I had to figure out the proper way to use it, but I've been crackin' twice a day, every day since then. I roll in the morning to stretch out my back and again when I get home after sitting in an office all day. Aside from the very satisfying popping noises, I no longer feel like I'm slowly turning into Quasimodo. I am fully aware that this sounds like a made-up review, but I came home tonight after a rough day and went to roll and something cracked so deep in my back it felt like all the tension disappeared and my back feels less scrunched up than it has for a LONG time. I was put on to these by a friend who works at a music venue. We both have back problems from standing on our feet 8-12 hours a day. He had the whole set, and I tried them all out. The 6 inch puts the most tension on lower, the larger wheels out it on higher? (So I'm told) I have lower back problems so I only needed the smaller guy and it works. It works so well. Takes some getting used to but this will help pop and stretch your back in a good way. I recommend purchasing the larger wheel first as this one can seem tough on your back if your not used it. Highly recommend.

I'm not sure if this is doing what it's supposed to do. It's actually kind-of painful to use because of the small diameter. It's about right right for my gradeschool children, but not for an average adult, and certainly not for a heavy adult. I would recommend going bigger if you're bigger yourself.

this thing was great until it broke....I was rolling this morning and it cracked open. I would say if you weigh more than 140 it probably wont be good for you . I gave it 3 stats because I really like it, but really hoped it would be more durable. Now I have to either look for a better option or buy another one and hope for the best. ... show more

I read the reviews, watched product videos and was a bit skeptical but thought this 'might' be worth a shot. Wasn't about to spend over 100$ for a set of wheels but I decided the 6 inch wheel was worth the risk. I figured worst case I would toss it on a garage sale for $10 or gift it to someone. When I received the Chirp 6 inch wheel I tried it out right away. Immediately I got 2 or 3 pops from between my shoulder blades (a spot that is difficult to crack) A few seconds later I got more from my middle back and when I got the wheel down to my lower back I got several more cracks. I've used the wheel every day since I got it and I always get a few cracks out of my back. I have gotten pins and needles a couple times from my lower back after using it which means that the something that was once pinched was no longer pinched. I am on my feet 8-12 hours a day and often suffer lower back pain. Since using this wheel I haven't noticed any lower back pain. - - - The only real bad part is it is rough on your back at first. I read how many people found it too painful to use. My wife tried it for all of 1/2 of a second and refused to even try it. The first day it was painful, the second day it wasn't as painful and with further use either I was accustomed to the pain threshold or it wasn't very painful to use at all anymore. ... show more
