The hose is flexible and easy to coil for storage. The material appears more durable than expandable hoses that usually pop over time. The brass fittings look sturdy as well. The hose tends to kink or fold on itself so I have to unravel it in order to get water. Not a big deal with a 25 ft. hose but is annoying with a longer hose.

DESCRIPTION: This is a 25' garden hose of the flat fabric type. It has brass fittings and comes with three extra hose washers. ———————— HOW I USED IT: We put this to use immediately in our garden which consists of many raised beds. To simplify watering tasks, we set up dedicated hoses so each reaches a specific number of beds without any extra hose length to get in the way; and they remain in place the entire growing season. We were in need of a 25' hose to reach the last three 8 foot bed pairs, and for some reason that seems to be an uncommon length locally. We unrolled it easily and put it in position. The green stripe was helpful to be sure there were no twists. We attached a nozzle and turned it on. The hose filled up - this was obvious as it went from flat to round. (As always, we apply some petroleum jelly to the fitting threads to prevent them from seizing up over the season). ———————— PLUS POINTS: 1. When empty and flat, it is very easy to lay it out exactly where you want it. The broad green stripe makes it easy to see if there are any twists. 2. The hose is very lightweight compared to conventional hoses. Even when full of water it is easy to handle and move around. 3. The fittings secure easily and are leak-free. 4. The hose will not kink when pulled around a tight corner or in a tight curve. See photo. We could intentionally kink it by folding it back on itself tightly, but that is typical of any water hose. 5. Hose requires a minimum of storage space off-season. 6. Hose is supplied with three extra washers. ———————— MINUS POINTS: None ———————— OVERALL: We have never used a fabric type hose before, and were a bit skeptical about it at first. Now that we have used it, we love it for being kink-free and very lightweight, and will use this type as we need additional ones.

We recently installed a faucet adjacent to my hot tub, so I wouldn’t have to lug my heavy hose around the back of my house to fill it. I chose this 15 foot HODUP Garden hose that’s making my life even easier! I was shocked that it arrived in such a small lightweight box and couldn’t wait to try it. It connected perfectly with no leaks. Water pressure is great! The slim profile lets me just drape it over the faucet when not and use. I also have a garden at this end of my yard that could benefit from extra watering without dragging the big hose out. This hose Is a ribbon like construction of outer sturdy fire hose type fabric with an inner tubing of marine grade PVC and rubber. Fittings are copper aluminum and three extra gaskets are conveniently included with this hose. The light weight and performance has me fantasizing about the ease of washing my car or setting up a sprinkler, so I definitely see two 50 or 100 foot lengths of this hose to replace my too heavy and clunky rubber hoses that are a tiring arm workout to rewind. I am sure this type of hose would work great on a reel with less kinking and bulk. Excellent product to effortlessly help with my Summer watering needs. Highly recommend!

This hose reminds me of a fire hose. It's sturdy and good quality and light weight. It's not heavy like regular garden hoses, it doesn't take up much space when it's not being used and wraps around my wall bracket easily. It doesn't kink either, which is something my regular hose does all the time. It's easy to use when I water my flowers. I would definitely recommend this hose.

I needed a hose for my grandkids to use with their sprinkler. Something short that was not so easy to trip on, because the kids just run and trip over the hose loops. This was what I needed, and then some! The inner core is light and flexible, while the outer fabric makes it slide along with ease. This doesn't snag on things like traditional hoses do. It is so much lighter than even the expandable ones, and it has not had a kink yet! It is so light that the kids don't mind gathering it up for their Nana, which is miraculous! And it can be wrapped up much smaller than I ever thought a hose could be. The little ones do not trip on this as often as the traditional and expandable hoses. This hose seems to give easier, rather than staying put and sending them sprawling. It's hard ti describe. It is not trip proof, it just happens exponentially less with this one. I have found that it is much less uncomfortable to step on as well. The connection points are great and I am pleased with the included seals. The ends are metal and not plastic which means this will last far longer. Though I will not be leaving this outside to freeze in winter. This is a great choice if you need a short, lightweight hose.
