Greta product. I've fought a few oscillating sprinklers in my years but this Aqua Joe has been a dream to use. The frame is solid metal and the hose connection seems pretty solid compared to every other sprinkler I've gone through. I genuinely think this one will last double or triple the time of all the others I've tried. The angle adjustments are also very easy to use and precise. I like in a new community and the houses are very close but I'm able to put this in between me and my neighbors house and use the angle adjustment to only water my yard. ... show more

This is a solid sprinkler with great reach. Sturdy. Only problem for me: there is no adjustment to the width of the spray. I have several areas that are best watered by a narrow width of the sprinkler. Not talking about the reach of the fan spray, but the width. (The reach is great.) So as good a sprinkler as it is, the spray width is not adjustable, which I need. So I will be returning. If narrowing the width is not a concern for you, this is a terrific sprinkler. ... show more

    • Not the product it was. They have all broken, and I've bought these for years.

These have been my go to for oscillating sprinklers for several years. But in the last 6? months the ones that I've gotten have very hard oscillating gears - when you go to set the width/direction of the sprinkler, it's very difficult to move. And then, one by one, they have all failed. The oscillation gets to the farthest point and stops returning. You can hear the mechanism clicking repeatedly. Sometimes it's broken right out of the box. But it usually fails within a 2-3 months - well after I'm able to send them back. I'm so frustrated - now I have no decent options. They used to be so good. All I can tell you is check for the hard oscillation gears, and if they are - send them back immediately. Don't wait for them to break. And AquaJoe - I assume you've switched manufacturers. These new ones are not great. You need to fix this. Feel free to let me know when you do. I'd love to have you back. For now - I guess I'll do Lowe's cheapies. augggggghhhhhhh!!! ... show more

Really about a 4.5 rating. I really liked it but I had a couple of reservations. I think the sprinkler as is was really good. My reservations are 1. it had no flow control and 2. you cannot adjust the width of the spray. You can adjust the the back and forth action[the controls for that are precise and excellent] but just not how far that pattern will be. You cannot widen the nozzle spray or narrow it either. I do think the coverage is very even. I like the nozzle cleaner tool, it fits into a spot on the side of the sprinkler opposite the hose, holding it there so losing it will be harder. The base is really built and strong. I moves in a precise and even way. I think my reservations are based on another similar sprinkler I have, adjust the amount of the width of the spray. It also has a flow control, both I think help make it better. I still recommend it, as is it is fine, if you want more controls then look elsewhere. It is a good value. ... show more

This is my third Aqua Joe oscillating sprinkler system over the past 20 years or so. This third model looks more stream lined and maybe less expensive looking (quality) but it does give a fine coverage of water. I have a large yard and it's very convenient to change the direction of the sprinkler so that it can soak several areas. I recommend this system and will keep you posted as to its performance and quality. Since I have used it only briefly, I am hoping it as durable as the prior two. (Wish it came with an additional hose screen.) ... show more
