Received in about 10 days. One of the cartons with roof panels was damaged in shipment. Notified Four Seasons that afternoon and they responded immediately. I sent pictures and the next morning they were shipping replacements for damaged parts. Haven't totally assembled yet but quality of product looks good. I saved about $500 from what I would have spent locally and believe I got a better deal with built in gutter and upper rain deflectors. Will update as soon as assemble is finished. ... show more

We bought two 16x12 kits and “spliced” them together. Pros: Essentially customizable sizes without paying custom size price. Overall price (much better than any quotes we got or other companies) Function. Keeps the deck cooler and protected from the sun and rain. Generally good customer service. Cons: Difficult to put together. Hard to follow instructions (not like a bookshelf from IKEA) Requires handyman skills/knowledge to construct. My wife and I have been looking to cover our south facing deck for some time. Anything wood was incredibly expensive as were all the quotes for a company to do vinyl or aluminum. We found Four Seasons and found the price to be significantly better than any other options. I am not very handy, but my brothers in law who are quite handy agreed to help. Our deck is about 27 feet by 13 feet. We were told we could splice two kits together and so we ordered two 16x12 kits. The kits arrived in many large boxes. We noticed that some of the posts were scuffed and some of the pieces were very bent. We sent pictures in and they were quite quick to respond and send replacement pieces, that aspect of customer service was great and they seem to be very willing to work with their customers. We unboxed everything and tried to follow the instructions as best as we could. The instructions were a little confusing and what was frustrating is there is a video produced by Four Seasons that completes the kit differently than the instruction manual. In the end you are left with a lot of guessing and just giving it a go how you think best. We ultimately made a few small mistakes that cost us dearly. We didn’t put the roof panels in front of the main beam. Thus we are not able to put the front and side fascia pieces on and the project looks incomplete. There were other small adjustments we had to make along the way because things weren’t clear. We reached out to see if there was some workaround to the main issue but haven’t heard back in a month. It is my nature to give five stars for pretty much everything and I am generally pretty easy to please. I give this four stars because it is a good product that isn’t expensive. It does a great job covering our deck from the elements. I can’t give it five stars because, as others have mentioned, it is difficult to build and the instructions are just not good. Overall we are pleased with the quality of the product and how much better it makes those hot days or rainy evenings. ... show more

About 7 hours and it was up blocking the sun. A nice unit with fairly simple instructions and plenty of fasteners and sealant. The insulated roof panels keeps the Sun's heat from penetrating, so no radiant heat can be felt underneath. Great buy!

Well the project is done! This was an experience for sure. We put up the 12x22. It came super fast. Part’s were all there. Though I believe some went to a different unit. I have done a lot of DYI building and I will say it does take a good bit of that knowledge. The instructions should be Redone with diagrams not pictures. Pictures are much harder to follow then actual drawings. The panels had many bent channels on the ends. Had to pry open with screw driver and channel locks. Some panels were scratched. We put ours under our overhang not off the rafters. Made it slightly harder. We had to go from left to right because of a side wall but with a couple squirts of WD40 they slide pretty easy. The thing was not a full 22’ but 21’ something so read the size before removing any siding. The width of the panels came out longer than the frame. I had to rip one to get it to fit at the end. Had to remove soffit to do any screwing. Called customer service once and Sandy was great. All in all this arrived much sooner than expected, it is much more solid than expected, and it’s a beautiful roof. You just need some knowledge of problem solving.
