This bed is so adorable! With reading comments I was afraid there may have been broken parts but everything came perfect..Transitioning my 2 year old from a crib to this bed on his first night was easy easy..He slept on it all night! I decided to not put the tent up yet bc he has so many toys and he loves playing with his toys underneath his bed..This bed is truly a great idea for giving more space to a room..he has so much more floor space and play space..He loves and so does mommy ... show more

Overall impressions were good. I like the weathered grey finish on this bed. Pieces seemed to be made well, and everything went together easily. One headboard piece was damaged in shipping but is being rectified by the manufacturer. They advertise the tent part, which I was pretty excited about for my 4 year old, as being a $94 add-on if you buy it from their website, so I was expecting a little more than a cheap piece of fabric that comes in 5 pieces. The top of it attaches to the bed with stick-on vector pieces, but I can't for the life of me get them to stick for more than 24 hours, (even when tent is not in use), so I'll have to get some command strips or glue on some snaps. Went with an 8" mattress, as recommended. I think you could easily get by with a 10" that would be more comfortable and still have enough side rail to prevent falling out of bed, though I probably wouldn't if your kid was much younger than 4 or 5. Bottom line: Good kids bed. Don't pay extra for the tent. If you want to make a tent or reading nook under the bed, you could do much better yourself for less money. ... show more

Very well made bed and Simple to put together . We were missing a few screws and reached out to the manufacturer and they sent us another package with all the hardware (screws) with no issue . All we needed was proof of purchase and the hardware came in two days . Very good customer service and very good bed for the price . My son is two years old and gets into the bed with no issues . All we have is a twin mattress no box spring needed and the rails are perfect so I don’t have to worry about him falling off . Super happy with my purchase ! ... show more

Don’t buy. Dangerous. We purchased two of these beds for a shared room. They looked great! The boys loved the “fort” factor. My four year old (40lbs) slept on this bed for a bit over a year. Last week when climbing down the ladder he pulled the side railing outward and the entire bed collapsed. We had no indication that there was anything wrong. The screws pulled directly out of the soft wood. He fell to the floor and the bed completely came in upon itself. Thankfully my six year old was not playing underneath.     • Great bed to transition out of toddler bed
This bed is great for our three year old who kept moving his toddler bed around the room instead of sleeping in it. He loves this bed because it’s his very own “big bed” and the slight loft makes him feel like he has a secret place to play. The bed is incredibly sturdy and easy to assemble, albeit there were some steps you needed two people to complete it. The quality is great too. The only issue we came across was the tent panels that get attached to the headboard and footboard. Kids love playing in the tent and the loft isn't too high for my 4 year old! The sticky Velcro doesn't stay stuck on the wood so I nailed it up so the tent would stop falling down.
