A Fantastic piece of ingenuity! I recently purchased a Hybrid that had a port to help keep the battery charged and am able to get an extra 50 gas less miles before its time to pay the piper. The vehicle came with a 120volt plug in but discovered that when the battery was just 1/2 used, the 120volt plug in would take 6-8 hours to charged it back up. thats when I decided to try something different. How to begin the search? Well at my job as a pilot our company provides free plug in for any electric vehicle from Tesla’s to motorcycles and the surprising thing to me was that the plug-In fit all the vehicles. When I use this from my company the charging of a fully depleted battery took only 2-3hrs!. Thats when I began looking for a charger to set up at home, 3 1/2hrs from my office. Eviqo caught my eye first, a very sharp looking unit with a 25ft cord and according to the information, easy install, Right!!!!! After combing over the various types and models of electrical charges I settled on the EVIQO as the cost, power and looks are what made that choice easy in the end. The unit arrive very quickly as advertised and the EASE OF INSTALLATION began. (Isn’t that what they all say right?) The instructions were a little confusing at first because I wanted to connect it to a recently installed 240V (like an outlet for a cloths dryer) that I installed outside by the garage door. There are a couple different types and thought I had installed the wrong one, but the instructions steered me straight. Before mounting instructions have you open the unit up and dial in the power-out that you want 20-30-40-50 AMPS!!!! Once again I thinking “hear we go!” But after reading the instructors a few times and pondering the situation it all made sense. My breakers are 50 AMPS so 40AMPS is what the instructions advised. A piece of cake by following the instructions. Mounting was very easy if instructions are followed. Being outside yet pervious to the weather I decided to enclose the unit unit a cover to help it survive the weather here in land of unpredictable weather, even though it says it is protected from that but I wasn’t going to take any chances. After completion of this 3-4 hour journey the time came. First thing was to download the EVIQO app and set it up which was actually very easy. Lots of good information on it. Powered the 50Amp CB on and the EVIQO started to light up, very cool! Then it was plug in time to the vehicle and it worked perfectly. The app showing the charge and how much electricity is being sent along with the cost which depends on what you pay per KWH. This unit charged up my vehicles battery faster than the unit back at the office. Very impressive. An extremely solid and well built unit that looks good, feels good and works better than advertised. So if you are in the marker for the best charger no matter what you’re charging EVIQO is the way to go. It comes in a very very strong double thickness box and no way could this be damaged by the shippers, very safe travel all the way. A great company to do business with. Couldn't be happier with this product. It was purchased to be used with a 2025 Volvo XC60 Plug-In Hybrid and hooked up to that vehicle without any extra effort required. Installation was absolutely straightforward with helpful templates for mounting the hardware on the wall. Instructions were crystal clear with zero room for confusion. Management said app installation on her smart phone was easy as well. (I am a Luddite and only have a 10 year old flip phone, so I can't speak to that!) Unit hooked up seamlessly to our router on the very first try. No swearing required! "Plug and Play" works as advertised. Reasonably powerful (by my standards) as well. Charged the Volvo from fully drained to fully charged in less than four hours. (Note: it is NOT a full EV. This time is only for the assist battery which provides around 40 mile range in Pure EV mode.) We live in the sticks and do not have variable rates for our electricity, so I can't speak to the scheduled charging capabilities. Being in the sticks also promises routine power glitches and the unit flawlessly reconnects to the router after each and every outage without any human intervention. Superior packaging is also a big plus. The unit was securely packaged with very adequate cushioning to ensure the product withstood the gorillas tasked with delivering the device to my house. Management says the app is intuitive and easy to understand. I'll take her at her word. No direct experience here. The unit is mounted in the garage, so I can't speak to it being weather-proof. Certainly appears to be by the rugged looking construction. Impressed with the "special" mounting screws that require a unique wrench (provided) to deter thefts should the unit be installed outside. A nice touch! All in all, a very nice product that I would heartedly recommend to anyone looking to purchase an EV charger.

I got this to replace a ChargePoint flex that had repeated WiFi hardware failures twice replaced under warranty but no longer covered. I was able to use the same circuit. Installation was straightforward since I’m an electrical engineer and have worked on much more complex equipment. I like that the charging cable holster is separate. I like the design and it easily connected to my WiFi. It works fine and I’m satisfied with the app functionality. I don’t use the scheduling function but I do like the real time reporting of voltage, current, and power. If you use a different power cable you’ll have to make a work space near the mounting spot since it has to be connected before mounting because the screws to open it are in the back against the wall. It seems well made and works well so I hope it lasts.
