I ordered these Papaison roller skates based on my previous experience with the brand. We skate at the roller rink a lot with my family and my daughter has been using Papaison brand speed rollerblades for this last year. My sister in law also skates in Papaison women’s quads based on my recommendation. We ordered these skates for my girlfriend as she wanted to try to get into skating with us. Firstly size adjustment is great and easy to do, they fit my other half’s size seven feet perfectly. When the boot is adjusted to full extension the padded sole insert will be a bit short at the front and back but still does a decent job padding the feet. The brakes on these are a basic fixed brake that does the job just fine. I like that they include an extra set of replacement brake stoppers for when the first pair wear out. The lighted wheels look nice and flash well. At 82 durometer they are good multi use wheels for inside or outside use. As we have experienced with their other pairs, the liners tend to be a bit firm/not the most comfortable at first use and need a good break in, so wear decent socks the first few times out. The bearings on multiple sets of Papaisons we have ordered have all been on the slow side, which is fine for a new skater, but you may want to upgrade them at some point. Overall we are quite happy with the product this brand produces at the price point they are at and have no problem recommending them, especially for someone newer to skating. TLDR breakdown Pros: Adjustable sizing (can be used by an adult if you fit in the size range) Fair price point Spare brake stoppers included Light up wheels and cute colors Good starter skates Cons: Padded Insole short at longer adjustments Padded boot liners tend to be a bit firm, needing a good break in Slow bearings (can be a pro for new skaters)

I recently got the PAPAISON roller skates for my daughter, and she absolutely loves them. Right out of the box she was excited to try them — the sizing adjustment worked as advertised, so we didn’t need to worry if she had a growth spurt soon. The skates look fun and colorful, which makes them feel more like a treat than just another toy, and she was proud to wear them the first time we went out to skate around the driveway. The fit and comfort seem good: the padding is soft enough that she didn’t complain about chafing or pressure around her ankles, and the closures made it easy for her to put them on by herself (with a little guidance). The wheels roll smoothly over our driveway and on the sidewalk, giving her a nice steady balance so she didn’t stumble too much at first — which says a lot for beginner-friendly skates. I like that they feel stable enough for her age and skill level, but still fun for when she wants to go faster. As with anything, there are a couple of minor things to watch. Because the skates are adjustable, the mechanism needs occasional checking to ensure the sizing lock is secure — I learned to double-check before each use so they don’t slide out of size mid-ride. Also: if she’s skating for a longer time, I might invest in a bit more protective gear (knee and elbow pads, helmet) — the skates handle well, but safety is always more important than speed. Overall though, for a first pair of skates and a kid just learning to roll around, this felt like a great choice.

Our daughter is absolutely loving these amazing skates. Here is our review..... Functionality: The triple-closure system is highly functional, offering a combination of laces, a hook-and-loop strap, and a secure locking buckle. A key functionality feature for growth is the push-button mechanism (often hidden near the heel) which allows for easy size adjustment, extending the lifespan of the skates. Control: The high, hard-plastic boot provides superior ankle control and support, minimizing the risk of wobbling or twisting. Since these are quad (four-wheel) skates, the wide wheel base naturally offers better balance and stability than inline skates, making them easy to steer and control at moderate speeds. Value for Money: Considering the durable hard boot, the secure multiple-point closure, and the inclusion of light-up wheels (which add significant novelty without needing batteries), these skates offer fantastic value for money.
