This is a sturdy cord and rated for 50A at 25'. so far, it works great. It has the correct plugs on the ends and "rubber" caps to keep dirt out. Just the ticket ro extend the basic cord on the charging unit to outside of the garage door, to the driveway.

I used this with my 48A charger and got full current to the vehicle. The connections are solid and work great. Quality seems to be on par with my charger cable/connector and the cable is pliable in the cold so far. It would be nice to have something to cover the connections from getting scratched on the ground. I have figured something out but I'm sure others would appreciate this. We don't want to scratch up our connectors that have to lay on the ground when in use. The silicone/rubber covers for the ends are nice and look to seal well. Very happy.

Web is filled with code police warning you not to use extension cords with EV chargers and I understand they mean well. But why they feel great about charging their EV's (potential fire hazard) inside their garage/home while complaining about extension cords is beyond me. Anyhow I am not going to park my 8000 lb truck on grass just so I can live by the code so I got this + hardwire Emporia charger on 60 amp circuit breaker and I consistently get 46 amp x 240V (11KW/hr) of charging speed. It has worked great since first day and I am writing this after 9+ months of trouble free use. It did get warm in summer months when it's exposed to hot sun but never too warm to the touch. And it stayed very pliable which I hope stays so during winter months ahead. Considering price of copper wires and cost of labor to run 40 extra ft of 2x 6 awg wires + 8 awg ground, this is an exceptional value.

The extension cable appears to be well built and, unlike other cables such as WENSTORM, it is not thick or rigid. I really like the fact that this cable is thinner and more flexible. It also includes a built-in “micro-switch” in the charging handle, which signals the charger to stop charging before disconnecting. I was using this cable with a J1772-to-Tesla adapter and specifically needed an extension cable with a micro-switch so the charger would stop charging, unlock, and allow me to safely remove the charging handle. After further research, I found that EVDANCE and SEGUMA also offer extension cables with this feature, and it appears these two brands may be from the same company.
