I had this on my wish list as my original electric kettle was coming to the end of its days, due to a cracked lid and slight leaking issue. This went on sale for Black Fri so I bought it. It's as pretty as in the picture. I like that it keeps the water warm. One caveat: I could be wrong, but I am not seeing a way to turn it off without unplugging it from the wall. The instructions say to turn the heat to '0' and it will shut off, but mine does not. The water stops boiling, of course, but the unit seems to remain in a stand-by mode. The indicator light remains on, even if there is no water in the kettle, until I unplug it from the wall. Not a big deal, but a bit odd.

This little electric water heating pot has a small base and a temperature control knob, as well as auto-shut-off feature. Water boils very quickly. Much faster than putting a mug into microwave. It doesn’t take up much room on counter & has grooves underneath base to wind cord around to keep it looking tidy in my kitchen space. Kinda has a retro-look to it. Can use for instant coffee, tea, cocoa, boiling water for any recipe…makes things quite convenient.

I usually only have one cup of coffee first thing, and then i either have tea or chicory herbal coffee for the rest of the day, and it is always just made with hot water and not in a coffee pot. This works perfectly for what I need, heats the water right away, holds just over a quart, so not too large or too small, and keeps it hot indefinitely as needed. There is a pretty blue light that comes on when the kettle is heating up, it is easy to clean, and has a filter in the pour spout, so you called actually brew a pot of tea in this if you wished to do that. Overall, I found no faults with this, and am very pleased that I bought it.

I purchased this cute electric tea kettle when my last one broke. I use an electric kettle several times a day - for our French press, for tea, and also to heat up water super fast to use to sanitize water bottles, etc. The capacity of this kettle is smaller than others, so that’s taken a bit to get used to. (On the other hand, it takes up less space on my already crowded kitchen counter, so that’s not necessarily a bad thing!) Other kettles I’ve used in the past will cut off over they reach the boiling point. This one goes into a “stay hot” mode and will maintain the temperature at a specific setting. While this is useful, I do wish there was an auto shut off after a certain time. I sometimes forget to unplug it and I worry that it will be a safety issue. It performs as advertised and is very attractive. But because it doesn’t have an automatic automatic shut off, I probably would not purchase this particular one again.

This electric kettle is so handy! It is sturdy, and yet light weight. It heats 5 cups of water to a full boil in about 4 minutes. I love that it keeps it at that temperature by turning on and off every few minutes. It has full temperature control on the knob on the front, from 190° down to below the 120° mark on the dial, so you can pick the temperature that you like best to make your hot drinks. We have very hard water here, and this kettle has a built-in strainer attached to the lid that snugs right up against the inside of the pour spout, and that catches a lot of hard water chunks. I'm very happy with this purchase.

The media could not be loaded. This little tea kettle works amazing and makes water piping hot .... Instant mashed potatoes .. use this kettle just add the water and they are perfect !! No stove top needed Tea ... which I love the entire ceremony of the making of tea ... mostly becuuse it calms me down !! Stressed, make lavender tea in 90 seconds with this amazing pretty little pot !! Someone breaks in ... with your pot on simmer ... Simply go to the kitchen and you have piping hot defense water !! Need to make hot instant coffee ... This quick kettle will have it !!! I adore the light show .. Don't stumble in the dark-- yes lights are expensive to keep on ..: this kettle is a beautiful beacon in the dark !!! With its gorgeous blue light!! I use this and have so every day since I have bought this last year.. Still an amazing shape easy to clean.. and I just leave it on my counter it's so pretty!!

Nice cute kettle, I can't recommend it for tea lovers but I'm definitely keeping it: as far as I can tell this is the ONLY kettle that fits my need. [UPDATE 05/2023] ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ After more than a year of use, decided to up it to a 5-star rating. Mostly because of reliability and the fact that no other product in this price range (you would need to spend $150+) keeps water warm all day every day. My review below is still valid, temperature controls are loosely defined but you would quickly understand your settings, and it no longer bothers me. ---------------- previous review ------------------ What is my need? **I want warm (150F) boiled water throughout the day.** All other kettles either don't keep warm for more than a few hours, no matter the price tag. or you have to boil water, then set the temp. no other kettle can do this... This little buddy does exactly that: I pour some filtered water, press one button and it boils it, and then lets it cool down to a desired (150F in my case) temperature indefinitely, eventually will run out of water and then auto-shutoff. I had to take 1 star off though, as the thermostat there is, how shall I say it, "buggy"... Armed with a few decent food thermometers tested the kettle. As many pointed out I found it quite disturbing. 1. temperature fluctuates by at least 20F. i.e. 130-160 at a fixed temperature setting. 2. operational range is not as advertised. (a) max temperature (marked 190) for me is 165-185, (b) moving control to "150F" (to the middle of the scale) lowers temp by only 10F: 155-175 (c) to get my favorite 150F I need to move it to 130 Your mileage will vary! I would guess that each kettle is different.
