A nice Phone. It is updating a lot, a little annoying, so I'm slowly updating it because it seems like it's doing several months of an update, and so keeps asking to update; however, even without all the updates, it's working great. The size is nice, easy to watch, the screen is crisp and the whole phone has a nice feel. It changes fast with a normal Fast changer, or rather quickly with a lower end changer. The camera is very good, the pictures are crisp and you do have some options with the main camera. It also seems to connect just fine. I have put the phone into a case, but it seemed reasonable durable. I have my screen kind of bright, so when I'm doing a lot, the power does go down kind of fast, but lowering the brightness does a lot for longevity. Over all I'm very happy with it. I did order 'unlocked', and it came 'unlocked', no issues with that. I use 'Mint' and I had no issues setting it up. I do use a physical 'Sim' card, though I do believe if one wants, it can do the downloaded 'Sim' Card. I also was moving my sim card from my old phone to this one, again, no issues, but both phones where also Samsung. I am using a screen protector on it, and though it said I may need to adject touch sensitivity, it seems fine to me. I will add, I haven't tried the Fingerprint thing. One downside, I missed, is it does not have the ability to add an SD card to it. A bummer, but seems okay since I do have the bigger GB size. It's my fault I missed that, so I'm still giving this phone a 5 star, because it was 'my bad', for missing that. ... show more

Even for an older model, this seems to be well beyond my newer motorola that I dropped and broke. Always go for the high GB capacity.

Getting this phone was a bit of an adventure, the first time the phone was "delivered," I received a box with a power adapter and cable inside - NO PHONE. Fortunately, I was able to set up a call back from Amazon and explain the situation including sending them a photo of the empty packaging. After a bit of discussion regarding the status update on the delivery not having been completed (it was updated while I was on the phone with the representative), they dispatched a phone to me (I can't call it a replacement, since I didn't get one in the first place.) Fortunately, I received the phone the next day. I have purchased many used phones over the years, but normally within a year of the launch of a particular model. In this case I was ordering a three year old model based solely on the cost, as I was buying the phone for use as a backup phone (WiFi only with Google Voice) and for use as a drone control display. I looked at lower end recently released Samsung phones, but it seemed that there was far more value in a higher end phone that was three years old and was around $250 with 256GB of storage. My suggestion on buying used phones would be to be very conscious of the usable life (how many updates will the phone get) and the condition. In this case an "Excellent" condition phone had a near perfect display, near perfect back panel, and two sides that were in great condition. The the bottom side and the right side of the phone had scratches and nicks, but I still consider the condition overall to be accurate. No the phone is not in "Mint" condition, but certainly better than "Very Good." I was able to set up the phone, charge it fully, and load the apps I wanted to use, then test its use. Everything seems to work as expected. The phone is a Snapdragon 8 gen 1, which as a I recall sometimes generated a little extra heat and had lower battery life than expected, but for my use the phone should be fine. The phone is supposed to get at least the next major Android and One UI upgrades (16 and 8) - so I expect security updates for about another two years, at which time I may decided to get another used phone for use as a backup. The phone works and sounds fine, I would call it a good value even if you want to use it for your primary phone. The screen, apps, etc. are snappy and everything runs without issue. ... show more

Didn't trust other third party sellers so I bought this directly from Amazon renewed (ship/sold by amazon). It was a bit more expensive than what other resellers were offering but the quality insurance is definitely there. The phone came in a brand new box and the phone was in like new condition with no physical wear whatsoever. This thing must have been sitting for awhile as it wasn't updated to ONEUI 8.0 - but I appreciate that it wasn't as that was the reason why I bought it. Samsung removed a feature on ONEUI 7.0 and up where you could use all your apps on your phone on a windows pc, windowed, (mobile games, etc) and control it with the windows mouse/keyboard. So yeah, it met my needs perfectly - ONEUI 6.1 allows me to use this feature and i got a new device, thank you amazon! ... show more

I recently bought the renewed Samsung Galaxy S22+ Plus 5G (256GB, Sky Blue - Unlocked), and overall, it’s been working great! The phone looks almost brand new, runs smoothly, and has excellent performance, display quality, and battery life. Everything feels fast and responsive — definitely a great value for a renewed device. The only downside I’ve noticed is with the fingerprint scanner and face ID. Even though I’ve added two fingerprints and two face IDs (both mine), the phone sometimes struggles to recognize me. I often get messages saying “press harder” or “not recognized.” It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a little frustrating when you’re trying to unlock your phone quickly. Aside from that, I’m really happy with the purchase. The S22+ is sleek, powerful, and performs like a new phone — just wish the biometric recognition was a bit more consistent. ... show more
