  • Great for everyday use!
I started wearing the ELEHEAR Delight OTC hearing aids a couple months ago, and after a few months of use overall I’m pretty happy with them. They’ve made a real difference in quiet to normal situations. What I like: - They’re super comfortable and stay in my ears all day without irritation. - They come with different dome sizes and wings that keep them secure. - Very discreet. They look like regular wireless earbuds, which I like a lot. Most hearing aids look like, well, hearing aids. - Voices sound clear and natural during one-on-one conversations and watching TV. - Bluetooth streaming works well for phone calls and music too. - Battery life is strong, and the app is straightforward. For the money, they deliver good value. They feel like a smart, modern option without needing to spend thousands on traditional hearing aids. There are a few things that I don't like: - They struggle more in noisy places like busy restaurants or when there’s background noise. - Clarity is good, but the sound can get a bit tinny or distorted at higher volumes. - They’re best for mild to moderate hearing loss rather than severe needs or very challenging environments. - I suffer from tinnitus, and these did not help. There are multiple ways to adjust volume. The easiest is through phone app, which lets you fine-tune volume and tone independently for each ear. The device also supports touch controls on the earbuds themselves: one tap to increase volume and double tap to decrease it, with voice prompts to confirm. It works, but the tap gestures can sometimes trigger accidentally when inserting or removing the aids. If you’re looking for comfortable, easy-to-use hearing aids that won’t break the bank and work great in normal daily life, I recommend the ELEHEAR Delight. They’ve improved my conversations and confidence. Give them a try, just know they perform best in quieter settings. Also, these hearing aids reward experimenting with the many app settings to dial in what's right for you. ... show more

  • VERY Good Hearing Aids VERY Good Hearing Aids
I've never worn hearing aids before, so I wasn't sure what to expect when trying out these ELEHEAR-Delight Hearing Aids. I suspected that I had at least a slight hearing loss (which was confirmed when I ran the hearing test in the app - more on this later). These devices look to be extremely well made, with super high-quality finishes throughout, They are attractively packaged in a manner like what you'd expect from a new iPhone - very solid and professional. Included in the box is a case containing the hearing aids themselves (the case doubles as a charging station for the hearing aids' internal rechargeable batteries, using its own internal rechargeable battery or a USB power source), two instruction manuals (a quick start guide and a full user manual), a card with QR codes for downloading the EleHear app from either the Google Play store (Android) or the Apple App Store, and a folded care on which are mounted TWO sets of left and right hearing aid "skins" (called "Ear Wings" in the product ad) - one set of Large and one set of Small, Replacement silicone ear tips, both vented and unvented (One set each of large and small, and one set of medium unvented - it looks like a pair of the medium vented ones is mounted on the hearing aids already), a USB-A to USB-C charging cable, and finally; a cleaning tool/brush. I was happy to see the assorted ear tips that were included, as I am a musician and know from experience with IEMs (in-ear monitors) that I have large ear canals and need to use large ear tips to get a good seal and optimal audio quality. The IEMs that I use have a loop that wraps around the top to the back of the ear to keep them firmly in place, but these hearing aids don't have such a loop. I was concerned that maybe as a result they wouldn't stay seated in my ears, but that concern was unfounded - apparently the "Ear Wings" perform a similar function, as during the time I've worn them so far there has not been a hint that they would slip out of my ears - they seem to hold securely in my ear. I first tried the devices using the default ear tips, and had the following first (and temporary) impression: they hearing aids had a very "tinny" sound, and they were too loud - meaning they much too sensitive (I could hear EVERYTHING fairly loudly: every ambient sound in the room that I normally don't hear at all (or had grown so accustomed to that I didn't notice it any more, and including my own breathing, swallowing, chewing, etc.). What's more, I could not only hear what was being amplified by the hearing aids but also what I could hear naturally - giving me a very unnatural sonic experience. This was all before I downloaded and started up the app). But after replacing the stock ear tips with a pair of the large-sized ones, firing up the app and turning volume settings down by close to 50%, and the tone ALL the way down, the sound was improved immensely. It sounded like I wasn't wearing them at all, except when I took them off I noticed the reduced level of hearing that I had without the aids! These hearing aids not only function as hearing aids, but also as Bluetooth earphones for listen9ing to music, or using the hearing aids for telephone conversations. Naturally, I wanted to hear how music sounded when played through them. I was somewhat pleasantly surprised that my music didn't sound bad at all. Certainly a bit lacking in the bass response, and still a bit "tinny" (even with the tone turned down all the way); but certainly within the realm of what I would consider acceptable, and I'm kind of fussy when it comes to audio quality. But then when I pressed the aids a bit, all of a sudden the fidelity took a big leap in improvement. The large ear tips still were not adequately sealing my ear canals. I think that replacing the silicone ear tips with memory foam ones will fix the issue. After all, I always replace the silicone ear tips that come with my IEMs with foam ones and the sound is greatly improved - so it makes sense that the same would hold true for hearing aids. By the way, I also found out later that the hearing aids' volume can be adjusted even without the app - simply press the flat portion on the end of the aid's body to increase volume, or double-tap to reduce it. So, I can say of the "hardware" portion of the hearing aids that they are very good indeed, they are clearly well-made, and the batteries last a long time. When I wore them the first time it was for a little over two hours, and the battery level still showed as 100%. According to the product ad, the battery life before needing a recharge is between 10 and 13.5 hours depending on whether they are used in hearing aid-only mode (more energy-efficient) and "Headset Mode" (which is hearing aids PLUS Bluetooth). The aids have five pre-set user-selectable levels of "AI-Powered" noise reduction, and it seems that user settings can be saved as additional presets. But what about the software component - namely the EleHear app? I would say that it is also excellent. As previously mentioned, it has the built-in hearing test which checks hearing acuity of each ear - sending tones of different frequencies and with increasing volumes. The user responds by pressing an on-screen button at the point when each tone is detected. When one ear has been completed (it takes a while) the test proceeds to check the other ear, and then the evaluation is displayed on the screen. Optionally, the test data (plus any notes that you want to add) can be sent to an audiologist from the app to get a personalized professional evaluation (free of charge, apparently!) There are also a host of environmental sound effects (on the "Serene" tab) which can be played through the app to aid in relaxation, focus, concentration, getting to sleep, etc. Sounds include light rain, heavy rain, thunderstorm, different flavors of noise (such as white or brown), brook, waterfall, ocean waves, a cat purring (my personal favorite), and many more. Up to five sounds can be played together for a truly personalized environmental soundscape. There is even an app function that provides translations in up to 20 different languages of what you speak. This can be incredibly useful when traveling through an area where English is not the primary language. The way the translation feature works is this: the translation page of the app is divided into two sections - the bottom portion is for the wearer of the hearing aids, while the top portion is upside down so it can be viewed by the person being spoken with. Both sections have 20 languages, one of which can be selected (i.e. English for you, Italian for the person you are speaking to). Each side has a microphone button for the current speaker to press, release, and say something. The translation appears on the listener's side of the screen (easily readable, because it's right-side up for them). They can respond by pressing the microphone button on THEIR side and speaking. The text not only appears translated into your language on your section of the screen, but you can actually hear the translation through the hearing aids. It's like magic! The translation occurs in near-real time. Just a second or two before the audio translation is heard. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, I don't have a whole lot of experience with hearing aids, but after using these and experimenting with some of their features I feel like if the EleHears aren't one of the best and most feature-rich products of this type I would be greatly surprised! ... show more

  • Excellent quality, outstanding sound, works with my phone and exemplary service! Excellent quality, outstanding sound, works with my phone and exemplary service!
I have been wearing expensive behind the ear, hearing aids for two years now, and have been disappointed with their ability to communicate via Bluetooth for music or even app control. When I saw these, I ordered them hoping that they could provide the combination of good hearing aids, phone into face, and programmable noise environments. I received these 10 days ago and I am so happy with these hearing aids and the service is exemplary. They have been trying to contact me every three days to see if I need help. I have questions they also provided a link for texting and the telephone number. These hearing aids fit well, and they provide all the accessories to make them fit properly. They provide very good documentation and everything works right out of the box. I still wear my expensive audiologist hearing aids when I go out until I am fully used to the new ones. Right now I use them around the house. I’ve gone shopping with them and especially with the TV, I can select the TV mode in the app and I can finally hear the words being spoken properly. Another plus is there ability to interface with my iPhone and speak and listen to phone calls as if the person was standing in front of me! The first phone call I took I happen to leave my phone in the other room. But I had my watch with me and I was able to answer the phone via the watch, talk and hear through these hearing aids, they are excellent! I am very excited about these hearing aids and will be using them more and more as I get used to them. My hearing aids that I got from the audiologist were close to $3000 so for a 10th of the price these so far have exceeded the capabilities of a $3000 pair of hearing aids! ... show more

  • Not as discreet or comfortable as claimed
The body is small but still visible. Ear fatigue set in after about two hours. None of the included tips gave a truly secure fit.

  • A big hit with my mother.
I already ordered the Beyond Pro version for my dad and liked them so much that I decided to get these for my mother. Her hearing loss is not quite as severe and she wanted something more discreet that would work better with her glasses so these seemed like the right fit. They are the more affordable option of the two but they still perform really well. The sound quality is really good for the price. The AI noise cancellation does a solid job of cutting out background noise in louder places like restaurants and family gatherings. My mom mentioned that conversations feel clearer and more natural which was the main thing we were hoping for. The feedback cancellation is something she really appreciates. She had tried other hearing aids in the past that would whistle when she hugged someone or adjusted the volume and that drove her crazy. These handle that really well and she has not had that issue at all. The discreet design was a big selling point for her. They are small and lightweight and sit comfortably in the ear without being obvious. More importantly they work well with her glasses which was a concern before ordering. She wears them all day without any discomfort which is a big win. The app gives you a good amount of control over the sound settings and switching between different modes for different environments is easy enough that she figured it out without much help. The Bluetooth streams calls and music smoothly which she has been enjoying. The waterproof rating and the portable charging case are both good for everyday use. Overall these are a great option if you want solid performance at a more accessible price point, or simply don't need as many bells and whistles yet. ... show more

  • ELEHEAR Delight Bluetooth OTC Hearing Aids
OTC hearing aids have come a long way, and these make the case better than most. The design is the first win: they look and wear like compact wireless earbuds rather than a medical device, sitting in the canal with soft stabilizing ear wings, which removes the stigma factor entirely for someone reluctant to wear traditional hearing aids. Multiple ear tip sizes in both closed and open styles come included, and the open slotted tips do a nice job blending amplified sound with natural ambient sound so things don't feel artificially plugged up. Comfort over a full day is genuinely good. Performance for mild-to-moderate hearing loss is the strong suit. The AI speech enhancement noticeably lifts voices out of background noise, and the feedback cancellation actually works; no whistling when adjusting them or hugging someone, which plagued older devices. The companion app walks you through an in-ear hearing test and builds a personalized profile in about ten to fifteen minutes, with scene modes for different environments. The honest tradeoffs: Bluetooth streaming for music is mediocre, especially with the open tips, so treat the streaming as a bonus for calls rather than a replacement for earbuds. Battery runs around 13 hours in hearing mode but drops meaningfully if you stream a lot. And less tech-comfortable users may need help with initial app setup. Where this product really lands is value. Prescription hearing aids run thousands of dollars; this delivers a legitimately useful chunk of that experience for a fraction of the cost, with no clinic visits required. For a senior parent or anyone putting off addressing mild hearing loss because of price or appearance, this is an easy product to recommend. Knocking one star for the streaming weakness and battery dip, but as a hearing device it punches well above its price. ... show more

  • Great OTC Hearing Aids That Don't Look Like Hearing Aids
I own both the ELEHEAR Beyond Pro and the Delight models, and they each have their strengths. The Delight feels much more like a set of earbuds than a traditional hearing aid, which is great when you want something discreet that doesn't immediately advertise you're wearing hearing aids. That can actually be a downside in certain situations though. I work in a hospital where earbuds aren't allowed, so the Delight can sometimes attract more attention than the Beyond Pro even though they're serving a completely different purpose. One surprise for me was comfort. I expected the Delight to win there, but I actually find the Beyond Pro more comfortable for all-day wear. Sound quality is very good and comparable to many upper mid-tier earbuds. The app is easy to navigate and makes adjustments simple. One feature I really appreciate is the delay between removing them from the charging case and connecting to the phone. It gives you time to get them seated properly without accidentally changing settings while putting them in your ears. Battery life has been excellent. They easily last all day for me, and the charging case provides multiple recharges before needing to be plugged in itself. Overall, these are a solid option for anyone looking for discreet OTC hearing aids that also offer Bluetooth connectivity and good sound quality. ... show more

  • Great sound quality, comfortable and easy setup!
I have been extremely impressed with these "ELEHEAR Delight" Hearing Aids. From the moment I started using them, the sound quality stands out as clear, natural and fairly well balanced. Conversations are easy to follow, even with background noise, thanks to the AI noise cancellation. Voices come through crisp and distint. Not overly amplified like I've heard in the past. The fit is a major highlight for me. They are lightweight and comfortable enough for all day wear. They're also discreet enough that most people don't even notice them, at least not right away. The sand white color blends in nicely unlike a more traditional hearing aid. the battery life is also very good, easily lasting through a full day of use without a recharge. The app is pretty intuitive even for someone like me who isn't exactly tech savvy. The settings are very simple. Overall, these deliver a great performance, comfor and reliability at a great value. If you want a nice pair of OTC hearing aids, this is worth a look! ... show more
