This charger is so much faster than the last home charger I had. I haven’t plugged it in overnight yet as I have not had to; it charges my car from 30% to 80% in about 4 hours! For the price it is a great deal. The cord is much thicker than most so a little harder to manipulate but workable. We have a Tesla charger that is hard wired too and you can see the size of the cord in the picture. I like having the ability to plug the charger into the wall just in case you don’t like it or it breaks (like my other charger) so it’s easier to replace. If you are having an electrician install a Nema 14-50 plug (required for this charger) make sure it is up high as the plug cord is long, mine is low to the ground as it was installed for my last charger, but I also added a hook off to the side to hang the cord so not a big deal. Good choice for a non-networked charger!

I recently bought a New Tesla 2026 Model Y. It’s my first time driving electrical vehicle. I am so excited and love it. I purchased Tesla - Wall Connector Level 2 Hardwired Electric Vehicle (EV Charger) from BestBuy for $450 plus tax and had professionals installed in my garage. Duke Energy provides rebates of up to $1,117 for installation costs through its EV charger installation rebate and I used it and got the rebate approved, so the installation is free. However, I need to travel and usually stay in AirBnB or friend’s house and would like to have an on-the-go charger but don’t want to spend too much money. I searched Amazon and found ELEGRP Level 2 EV Charger would be a good fit. This charger is designed for Nissan/Ford EVs, not for Tesla. I consulted with the seller who quickly recommended me to order a J1772 to Tesla Charger Adapter for $18, so I decided to take a chance. It took me 4 days to receive the charger with free shipment. I am impressed with the quality of this charger. It has a nice case with handle to carry for travel. It has a wall mount for home use too. The cable is 25 ft long with very sturdy material, featuring 40-amp charging, and 1–12 hour delay timer to schedule charging during off-peak night hours. I’ve been using this for several travels, and I’m thoroughly impressed and didn’t feel much difference with my home Tesla charger when charging to 80%. It has consistently performed well and exceeded my expectations.

I bought this to replace another portable charging cable that seemed to lose its function. I have a 30 Amp connection (former electric dryer outlet) so I keep the charging to 16A which is easy to set on the charger. The charger is capable of much faster charging but I don't have the circuitry to test that. The cable is much larger than my older, less capable charger so it is a bit heavier. However, it seems to resist kinking much better. The delayed charging function set by my car is detected by the charger and so far works very well. After a few months, I'm very happy with the charger. I don't really take it anywhere but leave it connected in my garage until needed. So far, so good!

Great EV charger that does what it should without a bunch of crazy extras. Great customer support… after ours shorted out, the company sent a replacement with no hassle at all. Good steady charging and a super long charging cable to reach a car on the other side of the garage. Really easy to install - just plug it in to an installed 40 amp outlet and you’re ready to go. LED indicator shows power and charging status. Excellent value and well made.

I would recommand this product to EV owners if your EV doesn't come with a fast charger. The standard 120v charger takes about 16 hours to fully charge my car while this 240v charger takes 2 hours to charge this same vehicle. It is convenient and easy to use but requires professional installation. Not sure about reliability and durability though but it is highly efficient and functional. Overall, it is worth the investment.

Works well as a charger. Easy to set up. I wish the power cord to the wall outlet was a bit longer. The length of the power cord makes it inconvenient to place the wall outlet and charger on the wall. The hook for hanging the 25ft cord is also inadequate to loop all the cord on unless the fixture is placed well above the floor and the loops of cord are fairly large. There is an undocumented 'feature' in the operation of the charger. If the charger is plugged into a EV for over 12 hours without the EV taking a charge then the charger turns off. That means if you have your EV scheduled for charging at 12AM and you plug it in in the morning before 12PM the EV will not get a charge.

I tested the product and it’s fantastic charger. Far better than what my Honda Prologue shipped with. I like the digital display which shows precisely what is being consumed by the car and what supply the plug is connected to as for voltage and current. The wiring, plug and materials used to make this charger is excellent quality. I don't quite like the plastic housing unit as it is little flimsy... it would be more ideal it it was made with metal. I had problems with the unit that was shipped however the manufacturer corrected the issue in a timely manner. I was very impressed with the service I received and I would recommend this product. Also for those that are not so technical, this product is designed to be simple to use and extremely easy.

Works good to charge my Honda Prologue 2024. I had an electrician wire an outlet directly to a fuse box in my garage. I go from 70% to 100% in about 3 hrs.
