The size of this heating pad is great, as it can cover my entire back. Has up to a 2 hour auto-off, which I appreciate as I often using this when sleeping. The cover is just part of the device and is cloth rather than cloth over plastic. Also, I have not noticed any shifting of the wires, likely because of how the cover is quilted over the entire pad. Unlike other heating pads I have not noticed any spots where one wire is hotter than another. I feel like the heating pad runs hotter than ones that you might get at a retail store. With multiple settings the highest I usually will go is the 2nd setting, but usually on the 1st if I am sleeping. This is a great heating pad and if this one dies on me, I'll replace it with the same one in the future.

I did not have a problem with sides as I looked at the measurements before purchase. But these come in a larger size as well. At the price it was selling for I found it to be a great deal. It gets very hot which makes me happy. It will help with pain relief if you are suffering from a pulled back or something. It is super soft and pliable if you wanted to fold it. The only issue I have with most heating pads is the automatic shut off. I wish they had automatic shut off to be for a longer period of time so if using it in the night when you are sleeping it doesn't shut off on you in the middle of the night. It has two settings one for heat and one a maximum time. Anybody purchasing this heating pad will not be disappointed.

I love this thing, I haven't ran into any issues of it burning through the covering or anything like that like some of the reviews on here. . .YET! The only thing I have noticed when it's on is that is smells like the inside of a pool or burning rubber, I check it everytime just in case and the smell never intensifies whenever I use it so that is a good sign. I also never put it at the highest possible setting just in case, I always keep it at three notches up. It heats up quickly, the covering is very soft which both of those things I especially like since my former heating pad took so long to warm up. This heating pad has helped me with my back pain and should blade pain, and has done well in keeping me nice and toasty on colder nights. The only thing I do not like about it is the cords, they are constantly in the way and you have to flail around in order to get them and keep them out of the way, I don't understand why it has to have two cords when I've had heating pads with adjustable settings WITHOUT the extra cord!

I was a little bit skeptical to buy this cause I like my heating pads to get really hot, but this one gets really hot, but you can also keep it on a lower setting and I also like how you can set a timer. Plus, the fabric is super soft. I will update if anything changes!

Been using for over a year. Works really good. After you use it a few times this gets nice and hot, I use it now on 1 or 2 and I'm a heat junkie. When and if this one fails I'll get another one just like it

Soft and good size but even the highest #6 setting is not at all hot enough. Don't even think there should be more than 2 heat settings with this level of heat!
