  • Hearpro Size 312 battereies vs. Duracell Size 312: battery life
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1)
I bought 60 Hearpro Size 312 batteries on 2/11/2023; batteries received 2/16/2023, expiration date October 2026. I bought 60 Duracell Size 312 hearing aid batteries on 1/17/2023; batteries shipped 1/22/2023, expiration date 2025-04. I conducted a head-to-head test of the two brands, testing battery life. I began with 4 6-packs of each brand, 24 Hearpro batteries vs 24 Duracell batteries. I wanted to know if one of the brands lasted longer in my hearing aids than the other brand. On Feb 26, 2023, I began by putting a fresh Hearpro battery in the left hearing aid, and a fresh Duracell battery in the right hearing aid. Each time the left battery died, I replaced it with another Hearpro, each time the right battery died, I replaced it with a Duracell. I continued in this way until I had exhausted 12 batteries of one of the brands. The Duracell batteries in the right ear died more quickly in this period. On April 28, 2023, I had exhausted 12 Duracell batteries. On this date, I switched the Hearpro batteries to the right hearing aid and switched the Duracell batteries to the left hearing aid. I did this to create a fair test – just in case one of my hearing aids ate batteries faster than the other. At the time I switched, the right hearing aid had used 12 Duracells, whereas the left hearing aid had used fewer than 12. The second half of the test continued until July 1 @1:30pm when all 24 Duracell batteries were gone. At this point, I had 7 unused Hearpro batteries still in the original packaging, plus a partially-used Hearpro battery still working in the right ear. My conclusion: Hearpro Size 312 hearing aid batteries have a longer life than Duracell Size 312, by an amount greater than 7/24 = 29%. If battery life is your primary consideration, buy Hearpro. If dollar value is your primary consideration, multiply the Hearpro price by 70%. If the Duracell price is less than 70% of the Hearpro price, buy Duracell. (I paid $23.99 for the Hearpro batteries, $16.73 for the Duracell. 70% of $23.99 is $16.79, which made the Duracell batteries competitive. Today, 7/27/2023, the Duracell price is $18.99: I would not buy them at that price.) ... show more

  • Long life
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1)
I wish I got these years ago. They last so much longer than the PowerOne brand that is made by my CROS aid’s manufacturer! I don’t wear my aids for days sometimes and the old ones would be dead in 6-7 days, worn or not. These easily last 2 weeks or more. Amazing. The small difference in price is well surpassed by the longevity. I just assumed the brand that made my aids were the best for them, and they were what audiology gave me. Upselling - it’s everywhere… why I continue to fall for it IDK. The packaging doesn’t snuggle into my clamshell case like the round discs do, but not a big deal. Still never going back to the old ones! ... show more

  • If you have hearing aids these batteries are a must!
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1)
I wear my hearing aids during the day and the evening, so I need a battery that will last the longest. These batteries have outlasted the other brands I have tried.

  • Are they any good??
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1)
I was really concerned as to if these were any good, and my answer is yes! Do Not hesitate in getting these batteries. They work just like the smaller volume amount that is for sale and you save $ with these. (Was cheaper at the time of my purchase 5-23)

  • They seem to be equal to other brands
Size: 60 Count (Pack of 1)
These batteries are up to par. They cost a little less per battery than some brands but seem to last about the same amount of time.
