When I put these in I i immediately could hear so much better. I have hearing loss, but can't afford full on custom hearing aids. I was able to hear the faint sound my cats make when they chatter, I can hear my watch beeping, and I can just hear overall better. They came with multiple sized ear pieces and extra batteries and cleaning brushes, and a cute carrying case I am planning on customizing which is absolutely awesome as well. They fit my ears really well and it only took about 20 minutes of wearing them for me to get used to them. They are lightweight and are pretty well hidden. I am super excited about them and can't wait to see what other sounds I've been missing out on because I can't hear that well. 😍. I never realized how much I was missing out on until now. The battery life is very short, not even a whole days worth and today, wearing this device while driving, the battery exploded in my ear. It was painful and very scary while driving. I do not recommend.

Over all this hearing amplifier works pretty well. Especially for the price. There's a little bit of a whirring sound in the background but it's not too noticeable I get used to it pretty quick. I use these for work. I work with teenagers in a classroom setting and they work pretty well before I was having a hard time hearing my students at a regular speaking level. I've been gradually losing my hearing for the past 20 years after numerous eardrum ruptures due to fluid buildup in my ears from acutely angled eustachian tubes, the fluid doesn't drain properly. My insurance is so finicky I can't get proper hearing aids but I've had surgery on my ears after TWO bouts of the very rare mastoiditus, one which landed me in serious condition because of the infection nearly spreading to my spinal column. Sometimes I need the left one to at the highest setting but overall I am very pleased. Obviously it's not a proper hearing aid like my mother has (same issue because we have the same skull structure and tube angle) but they work great to get me through the work day. These work and I love the pink hearing aid. But the problem is the higher the volume the more air static you get. The other issue I have is that I wear glasses and I have to struggle with the arm of my eyeglasses competing with the hearing aid. It kind of defeats the purpose of having these if I keep taking it off. ... show more

    • Great improvement in design over the previous ones!
I liked that they improved the ear piece, over the old ones that were solid plastic ear pieces that were difficult to line up with the size of YOUR ear. One size does NOT fit all. (I had those) THIS ear piece is flexible and can be used in EITHER ear. There is no "left" one or "right" one. The only problem I have, is these pick up more mechanical sound (cars, power tools, and road noise) than people's voices. I've seen people's comments about the life of the battery that comes with it. It is the "battery" that has the problem, not the Amplifier, itself. Buy better batteries and store them in a Faraday Cage. We have CME's coming off the Sun and it's the only way to keep a longer life on ALL replaceable batteries. CME's "fry" ALL batteries, including your cellphone battery. ... show more

The description says pink arrived tan. One of them is like faulty where you have to keep moving it around for sound to come out. And dies after 1 day of use. ** they sent a replacement they were pink but one does not work I've changed the batteries and everything and it will not work.
