This fan was easy to install (a plug is electrically installed before the controller and that is plugged into the fan). I did add some blue locktite to the blade screws to prevent them from backing out as I have had other fans to that in the past, especially with outdoor fans. With it having a DC motor, it is very light, comparatively. The fan doesn't seem to make any more noise than any other ceiling fan (you can't hear the motor over the air noise), and if the beeping gets annoying, you can turn that off. It seems to be high-quality. It puts out way more light than the previous fixture that had 2 bulbs. All-in-all was one of the cheapest, best reviewed fans out there. ... show more

The fan is easy to assemble and installation is fairly simple. It looks good and is very very sleek and modern which is what I wanted. Negatives The light only shines down. I probably should have seen this coming but I was replacing an older style ceiling fan with this and it woudl fill the entire room with light. The light on this fan is plenty bright it just doesn't fill the room like an older fan does. I feel like the lowest speed on the fan is still too high. I would like to see something about 25% the current lowest speed. If the light switch is flipped off then back on the fan light goes back to its previous setting but the fan does not. These are little things though and overall I am happy with it, especially for the price. ... show more

I ordered 3 of these fans. 2 out of the 3 were perfect. No issues installing them. The last one was not so great. The holes to screw in the blades did not have any threads so I had to drill some in for the screw to grab, the screw hole that connects to the fan was too small so I had to drill that out as well to connect the blade. The remote was scratched up and so was one of the blades. Overall it’s a great product but wish I would have gotten them all in perfect conditions ... show more

The ceiling fans are simply amazing. You can change the speed of the blade how they rotate as far as forward or reverse, you can change the light settings as far as dim or bright, and you can even change the color temperature of the light from a more yellow indoor look to the bright white light. This fan works great and was easy to install. The slowest fan speed is a little faster than most ceiling fans though. It's very very quiet. And the remote is really handy and responsive.
