Description
A young woman, sole heir to a small-town Aizu dojo, finds her life upended when her father, driven by dreams of swordsmanship glory, abruptly departs. Forced to shutter the dojo and serve Teruhime, sister-in-law of Aizu Domain's daimyo Katamori Matsudaira, she eventually inherits her father's ambition. Teruhime, moved by her plight, remembers the Mibu Roushi, a group of skilled swordsmen under Katamori's command. Despite her gender, she journeys to Kyoto to join this elite force, which would later become the renowned Shinsengumi.
