  • Perfect rght out of the charger!
This is only the first day, but after charging up, finding the best eartip, I'm very impressed. The sound is clear and the volume control works great. They are comfortable and fit very nicely. So far, no issues. The price is amazingly low for such good quality. I'm sold! Two thumbs up!

  • Did not work.
The left hearing has static and low level whistling. Right hearing aid is pretty good but also has low level continuous whistling. Sound is tinny. Volume setting is haphazard so you poke the button hoping to turn it down but volume may go up. I am so sorry to be the bearer of bad news but they are not a keeper. Keep looking for reasonably priced hearing aids. Good luck ! These are getting returned. Maybe mine were the lemons? Maybe yours will work fine? ... show more

  • Disappointing
It sounded very good in the reviews, effective, easy to operate, comfortable etc. Alas, they are not.

  • They work great!
These hearing aids work very well. They are pretty light weight. Fit well with extra parts to ensure proper fit. They turn on quickly and charge fast. My mom loves them. It helps her to be able to hear better.

  • Great way to hear again
These fit well in the ear and are quite comfortable to wear. The processors are strong and you are able to keep up with a conversation at the same speed as if you didnt need them. They are discrete which is perfect for going out in public or simply not wanting to show that you have them in. The carrying case is a nice touch for anyone travelling or simply a way to ensure they are always right where you need them. There are different sized cuahions to fit different ear shapes, so this is a one size fits all setup. ... show more

  • Overall, impressed for the price
I bought this for my mother, who is in her 80's and is quite hearing impaired. She uses some more expensive hearing aides that she purchased from Costco's hearing center several years ago, and I thought it would be useful for her to have a backup pair (her Costco ones recently had to be sent back to be refurbished and cleaned, leaving her without them for a few weeks). I could clearly tell that these weren't of the same quality as her standard, more expensive hearing aides, which was no surprise; however, I did not expect this to be the case, and I was pleasantly surprised by her reaction to these ones (I also tried them out, but don't wear hearing aides, so I'm mostly writing based on her reaction, and what I observed when she tried them out). The main difference between these and my Mom's more expensive hearing aides was that she could hear her own voice quite loudly while talking when wearing them (as could I, when I tried them out). This is what keeps me from giving the product 5 stars; however, the affordable price and the convenience of having an extra pair are what still makes me think that this is well worth buying. In essence, the severity of my Mom's hearing impairments, and her need to consistently have a functional hearing aide device to engage in the activities she enjoys, makes the minor inconvenience of hearing her own voice amplified louder than is ideal. They DO work well at amplifying others' voices, and she was able to converse with me effectively and unremarkably with them in her ears. She also said she became accustomed to hearing her own voice amplified after using the devices for several minutes, and that she would like to keep them to use when re-charging her other pair. Basically, these hearing aides aren't fancy or sophisticated, but they work well at the basic function of amplifying sound in the immediate vicinity. They likely would not be very effective at discerning immediate vs. background noise (e.g., in a crowded restaurant), and they don't connect to a smart phone; however, I didn't expect that it would come with those features, and they do appear to do a good job of cancelling a lot of the interference from other, background sounds when talking with someone (i.e., you don't hear ALL sounds at the same, high volume, but rather the most prominent source of sound in the immediate area). Also, you have to be realistic in that 'you get what you pay for' (they are OTC, not prescribed, after all). Overall, they appear solid in performing the basic function for which they were designed, and they're definitely useful/helpful to have. They're also easy to insert in the ear (kind of like a Bluetooth earbud, and like Bluetooth earbuds the hearing aides come with different sizes of rubber endpieces that are easily interchangeable). They also re-charge quickly and easily in the handy case that they come in, and are marked with both L and R and blue/red colors for ease of placing them in the right sides. They also power on automatically, and they have a volume button that's easy to adjust. Again, glad I purchased these, and I think they'll come in very handy for my Mom. ... show more

  • Great hearing aides!
The media could not be loaded. The Cuene hearing aides work really well. They come with 2 instruction booklets. One is a quick start guide and the other is a more detailed instruction booklet with trouble shooting section. They also come w/ 3 different sizes of hearing aide covers so you can get the right fit in your ear. They do not take very long to charge and the charge will last several days before you will need to charge again. They are very light weight also. I have hearing loss in both of my ears and I had to turn the hearing aides down they were too loud. My left ear was whistling a bit before I got the correct size of hearing aide cover on the hearing aide. There is a switch on the hearing aides that controls the sound and they also have a setting for a restaurant where there is noise all around you. I will recommend these hearing aides to family and friends! ... show more

  • Waste of time and money!
What a disappointment, constantly rings, could not get them to properly fit. The manufacturer is (according to the box it came in) is 'CUEME' but apparently it is made by Adien? Don't waste your time or money on this.
