I had one heating pad that lasted over 3 years with daily use. It was still working when I finally tossed it because the plastic was torn. I paid about $25 for it. I try not to leave reviews until at least after 6 months, preferably a year, but I purchased this heating pad in April 2023. It's a beautiful color, perfect, matches my bedroom color theme. It's soft. The cord is nice and long. It's a good length. I like the heating options. But it heats up, noticeably so, in what seems like a matter of seconds! How is that?! Goes from off to hot in a matter of seconds. And the highest setting is really hot. Makes me feel as if something is wrong with it BECAUSE I have NEVER had a heating pad that heats up to hot within 40 seconds. No complaint. Just wondering if something is wrong with it. Hope it lasts as long as my old plastic one did! I give this product a 5/5 SOARING Birds Rating! ... show more

I am a plus sized woman of whom lives with chronic pain. It is nice to be able to have a heating pad that covers my entire back as well as wrapping around my side when passing a kidney stone. The cover is very soft like a plush blanket. Another feature that I love is that it will stay on for 2 hours verses the 20 minutes on others…trust me, when you take meds for chronic pain, it horrible to have to keep turning the heating pad back on every 20 minutes. I have used all settings: the highest setting does get very hot (I could never use the highest setting on any heating pad) but not burning your skin hot, I usually use the medium setting of which is a soothing heat, the lowest setting is warm but not how I would use for pain therapy. I need a heating pad because I had surgery on my back. I love this one specifically because it’s large enough for me and my cat to share lol he will fall asleep on this thing but it does get very hot in my opinion so I keep it on low for him. First order broke on 3rd use. Lights just kept flashing and no hat. Returned for replacement and so far working for a month of regular use. When it works it works very well. This heating pad works fine. It wraps well around my shoulder. The fabric is thick and soft, which makes it comfortable to wear. The strap that goes over your other should is not ideal. You have to pull it over your head and adjust the tension. I have an ice pack that is elastic and easier to use. The arm band is elastic, but they put a huge label in the way, which makes it difficult to attach. I cut it off and it works fine, but was annoying to have to remove it. ... show more
