- INSTALLATION GUIDE: Installation hardware kits are required and sold separately, each D-ring will require one cable rope (DO NOT use nylon ropes, they break easily!!). Connect the other ends of cables to existing poles, trees or wall with shade sail hardware kits, high quality ColourTree hardware kits and cables are strongly recommended for best performance and appearance.

Very well built, tough. We put it up and it snowed the next day heavy wet May snow and it stretched but went back to its normal taughtness. Do make sure and attach this at an angle because the water collects in the middle and so does any dirt etc.

I bought this to connect my garage to my house, for cover in the rain and shade in the sun. It works great for both! I will say that some rain does drip through which I think is a great quality considering I couldn’t pitch it enough to have a significant run off. It stretches when very wet but then tightens right up once the sun comes back out. It also had some large wrinkles immediately after install but those tightened out as well. I bought the recommended hardware kit for it but replaced carabiners with larger ones and used with heavy duty chain, since my space was a little too large for the size I bought (I knew this before purchasing). The other side uses the 10” turnbuckles which are perfect for this use case as well. Color is exactly as pictured (vibrant red) but I did have to adjust to the red tint it gives the light that shines through my side door :) Overall very happy with purchase and quality. Easy to install as well (we are amateurs and still nailed it). My friends went and bought their own after seeing mine.
