It’s extremely light. The wood is such a pleasing walnut stain. Definitely easier to install with two people, just to have an extra set of hands. The only issue we had was misfitting the light shade but that was user error as we tried to fit it straight on but it screws! Just got a little stuck but as you can tell we got it on all right. It’s very quiet. Like unbelievably so. The light changes shades to fit whatever mood you need. The remote is easy to use, and the fan is super responsive as you can see in the video. It changes speeds and slows/stops so fast. I start it at 1 and then go to 6 and then go to 3. The range of speeds available is really nice. We like how this fan looks with our mid century modern style. And we like it so much that we’re buying a second one for another room! ... show more

This is a really great fan to improve the aesthetics of your room. It is crazy what a difference upgrading a fan makes. I was very happy with the look and quality of the fan. It matches the product photos very well. The word color is very nice and makes it look like a very high end premium product. The installation process was also very easy! I was just replacing an existing fan so it was fairly simple and worked with out any issues. It provides great air flow. I got this fan to replace a pretty, but not very functional ceiling fan in the dining room. The reviews about the brightness of the light were the selling point. This fan is truly bright and I am still getting used to the level of light. The previous fan had a dimmer switch, which I perceive is not present in this light. If so, I cannot find it. Still, I appreciate the light. It can be adjusted to warm or cool tones but it's not intuitive to get it to do that. The fan has three blades instead of the usual five but they are thick and strong and move a lot of air. There are six speeds on the fan and so far, it runs quietly. Installation was frustrating for my son in law. He is handy and has put up many many ceiling fans so it's not due to lack of experience. The issue was that the fittings are very tight and it was challenging to get everything to fit into the mount box and then get the fixture to sit flush against the ceiling. There are three down rod lengths that come with the fan. We used the shortest one. Overall, it's a nice looking fan. I just need to figure out that remote control. ... show more

I bought this fan for my new apartment and love it. Here are a few pros and cons. PROS: It looks super sleek and modern. I've bought a few fans in the past, and this one feels really solid and sturdy. The wood blades look really nice, and the black finish gives it such a clean, stylish look. The remote is super convenient. It's quiet even on the highest setting and runs smoothly and silently. CONS: It was a bit hard to install, but once it's up there, it works perfectly. The media could not be loaded. I initially ordered 4 of these ceiling fans, to replace outdated, operational fans. Installation was estimated at $125 per fan / per hour. Fans 1-3 were installed smoothly. Fan #4 installed but operated with major wobbling and clicking. Installer removed fan #4, took it apart, rebuilt it, reinstalled it, but it continued wobble and click severely. Installer completed this step several times, troubleshooting, without a positive resolution. We are now into the 2nd hour of labor cost at $125 per hour. I ordered 2 additional ceiling fans. The installer built fan #5, removed fan #4, installed fan #5, with the same outcome, wobbling & clicking, but not as bad as fan #4. Installer added the fan balances to minimize the noise. Installer concluded these fans were defective due to internal manufacturing and the fan blades unbalanced. My cost at this time is now 3 hours at $125 per hour for this one ceiling fan. The damage (pictures attached) is the ceiling stucco was compromised and needed to be repaired, due to repeated installation and re-moval, 1 hour labor, including repair and dry time. Unfortunately, Fan #1 (different room) is now clicking at speeds 3-6, making it very hard to fall asleep and stay asleep. At speeds 1&2 clicking is minimal, but winds distribution is also at a minimum, (video attached). I will now need to replace Fan #1 and have a new fan installed which will cost me an additional $125. Please advise as this has sadly become a costly nightmare. ... show more

So far working good, nice ventilation, silent, and the wood blades look real nice. After almost 3yrs in service the remote failed and to my surprise their customer service team responded over mail very quickly and solve the problem to my satisfaction. Would definitely buy again.
