Installed yesterday. Pretty easy to install and everything you need comes with it. FYI, you cannot use this with a dimmer switch, so had to change those out to regular switches. The fan works well and is very quiet, even on the higher speeds. At night, we just used the lowest speed, which was just right for us. Looks good, highly adjustable light and plenty of light. My wife had me order another for her office! So far so good! ... show more

This is exactly what I was looking for. My studio needed some extra airflow, and the low ceiling didn't leave many options. After some research, I selected this fan - and I am so glad I did. It looks great, and I had it put together and installed in about 12 minutes. Some of the reviews suggested issues with it being quality built - I did not find an issue at all. Yes, the fan is plastic, but it does it's job well and does not need to be thicker or heavier. The lighting options and control are as great as the fan speed options. This fan has an unusual design, so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. On one hand, the light ring looks modern and is bright. On the other hand, the fan blades are made from clear plastic and look cheap. The fan is relatively quiet and works well. I usually keep it on the lowest speed and it's sufficient. I really like that the light is sufficiently bright and the color temperature can be adjusted. The fan has Bluetooth and can be controlled by the app, in addition to the remote. What I don't like, is that the fan completely forgets the fan setting when it's turned off (with the wall switch that cuts the power off) and it does not synchronize its current state to the app when its turned back on. So if I turn the fan on, it won't come on after I switch it off and on, but the app will still show it being on. In summary, I like this fan mostly due to its excellent light and customization features. I wish the app functionality was better. ... show more

Simple to install. Brighter and clearer light than the kitchen light we replaced. Remote control gives the ability to adjust the intensity of the fan speed and the light brightness and color quality. Keeps me cool when I’m at the stove. Just installed so don’t know if there will be a change in energy efficiency. However, this fixture is also lighter weight than the one it is replacing so no extra accommodations had to be made for secure installation. Includes a hook that makes it possible to do a one person install which is a great feature. Fits close to the ceiling and existing electrical box. Easy to use and intuitive design on remote control panel. Two AAA batteries and screwdriver are all that’s needed to install and operate. This light/fan combo works beautifully. It may seem small, but on the highest setting it moves a lot of air. The light can be adjusted easily from both brightness and warmth. The fan is literally noiseless even on the highest setting. The installation is a snap (it actually took me longer to remove the existing light fixture). If you don't want to bother with the manual, you can simply follow along with the excellent video and pause as you complete each step. The small cable that attaches to the mount makes it easy to connect the wires. This is truly a one-person job (although it never hurts to have an assistant for when you forget the screwdriver!).
