  • Great little coop! Great little coop!
Pattern Name: L Size - Chicken Coop with Wheels... Size: 82.4"L x 25.8"W x 44.1"H
This coop was very easy to put together. I got it out together in under 45 minutes, and it's very sturdy and gorgeous. The slide out tray in the coop is going to make it so easy to clean. It is surprisingly light. And can probably fit just about anywhere. It can house up to 6 normal sized chickens. My ladies love it! ... show more

  • Great instruction booklet Great instruction booklet
Pattern Name: XL Size - Chicken Coop with Wheel... Size: 85.6"L x 40.6"W x 48.2"H, Fits 6-8 Chickens
This has the best instructions on a furniture kit I’ve ever put together. The instructions are clear with drawings. All the pieces are well marked. The only issue I had was with the dimensions given online are slightly off. I made a stand for the entire coop and I was a little disappointed after I put it together that their measurements were off because my stand were built to exactly what they put on the website. I just like my coops off of the ground for weather reasons. You can see it in the photos. It’s very roomy I have 6 chickens. Also it’s seems sturdy enough to keep predators out. I padlocked them in at night. The cover is a little flimsy. Hope that helps ... show more

  • Great coop and priced accordingly Great coop and priced accordingly
Pattern Name: L Size - Chicken Coop with Wheels... Size: 82.4"L x 25.8"W x 44.1"H
Perfect coop! We bought this for our quails. I was able to build this on my own and the instructions were fairly easy. The husband was surprised to see it fully built when he got home (took me about an hour or so more). Only issue I had was a cosmetic one as some of the trim paint was like scratched off but honestly I can just paint it so its not a big deal. There isnt a bottom to protect the birds from a predator digging underneath, but this is going into a fully fenced/covered run so we wont have to worry about that. ... show more

  • SMALL LIGHTWEIGHT
Pattern Name: L Size - Chicken Coop with Wheels... Size: 82.4"L x 25.8"W x 44.1"H
We bought two of these thinking that they would be sufficient for our small flock of 11 hens. (5 in one coop, 6 in the other, or joined together) Each of these is definitely not large enough to house any more than 3 to 4 regular size hens. Our biggest hen is a copper Maran, next up is our speckled Sussex, others are pretty much an easter egger mix. The only way you are fitting more than 4 hens in one of these is if they are small bantams or a very small breed. Assembly: Easy to follow directions. The first one we assembled took us about an hour. (We were taking our time) The second one we were able to breeze through - taking only about 20 mins tops. Durability: We haven't had it long enough to judge accurately but the material seems durable, especially the roof which is clearly weather resistant with proper roofing material. Functionality: There are a LOT of doors, so it makes it very easy to reach chickens, clean, etc. The sliding tray makes poop clean up a breeze. It does NOT move easily. While it is light, the wheels seem too small to be rolling over anything that isn't a very smooth surface. So - it does NOT roll well over grass. Rolling it around the lawn is an unfortunate inconvenience, because in order for the wheels to be functional, you have to lift it WAY too high to the point that the chickens will just walk their way right under and out of it. (And you cannot close them up on the inside because they would all be tipped on their side) It is not a one-person job moving it because of this and you need one person on each end to lift while keeping low to the ground and walking with it. Appearance: I think this is where it shines the most. It is VERY nice looking. We purchased the grey ones. They are cute and have an elevated non junky to them. 3 stars because the listing feels inaccurate for the number of chickens, which is very annoying (and functionality is a bit difficult.) If the listing said 3-4 chickens it would have been more accurate and we simply would have gone with a two slightly bigger coops from the same seller and avoided the hassle. That being said, we like it enough that we will just buy another one so that they all look the same and function the same, and we will be splitting up the flock between 3 of the same coop. (Our 3 biggest birds in one, and 4 slightly smaller birds [easter eggers, Wyandotte, barred rock in each of the others.) If you have 3-4 birds, I recommend this. If you have more, or if you do not want to move the coop twice a day the way we do (morning and night) for fresh foraging, go bigger. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY.
Pattern Name: L Size - Chicken Coop with Wheels... Size: 82.4"L x 25.8"W x 44.1"H
It worked great at first but now it’s literally falling apart. I would not recommend this unless you’re keeping it inside or on a porch. The door is broken, the ramp fell off, it is not weather proof at all, and over all it is made very cheap. It is not easy to clean or move because of the material being flimsy and not water resistant. It was easy to put together for the most part but that’s all. Does not move well. I would consider it predator proof to a certain extent. I have had to add a fence around it because the door is now opening in instead of out so predators can just push on it. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good quality for price! Surprisingly good quality for price!
Pattern Name: L Size - Chicken Coop with Wheels... Size: 80.6"L x 26.6"W x 42.4"H
Very sturdy for as cheap as it seemed! Of course its not perfect, but I am pretty impressed with how well it held together when I carted it from the flat concrete I built it on thru the rocky & uneven terrain I had to cart it thru. There were like 2 steps that were difficult to make sure were correct bc the instructions weren't prefectly clear on those 2 parts, but it was still relatively easy. Took me 1.5-2 hours. The wheels are in a pretty good place, I had to lift it pretty high and get it on the wheels more to get it thru the rocky dirt path, but was able to pretty easily. The locks are decent, I got supplemental locks to avert smart wildlife like raccoons bc they could probably figure out the latches they come with. But they are still good locks thay came with it! I love the design of the run. There is enough space at the end of the ramp for them to get out comfortably into the run and not run into the hardware cloth. The coop itself is decent also. Not spacious tho, only 1 or 2 chickens will fit comfortably in there. I got this for my broody hen who is about to hatch out chicks and needed her own space away from the other ladies and gentleman. The nesting box was too cramped with the divider in it for her, so I just took it out and now she is comfortably sitting on her babies. Overall I am Very happy with this purchase! Would be great for a couple of small chickens, regular to large size chickens will not be very happy in there lol. Oh, one thing that would be great is an actual roosting bar. Thats the one big negative with these coops, is they never have an elevated roosting bar, which chickens really need. The 'perch', as they call it, is not really a perch, its a bar too close to the tray. Im probably gonna add a roosting bar eventually so momma can teach the babies how to roosting properly. Still happy with this. Make sure it fits your needs tho! No more than 2 or 3 chickens max. 3 would really be pushing it. Maybe 4 if small. They hatched! So I added some of momma and babies 😊🐣🐤 ... show more

  • Not worth the money, unfortunately. Not worth the money, unfortunately.
Pattern Name: M Size - Chicken Coop with Wheels... Size: 72.3"L x 26"W x 39.4"H, Fits 3-5 Chickens
Very small, not big enough for a full grown chicken. Definitely not big enough for 2 grown chickens. I bought this to put my injured chicken into while she heals. She’s a standard sized chicken and is too big to use the ramp and she doesn’t fit into the door to the nesting box area. I have to take her out of the pen, open the big door with the “window”, and place her into the nesting area at bedtime because the opening at the top of the ramp is too small. It’s also very flimsy and needed MANY reinforcements. The wire is very thin and it’s questionable whether it will withstand a raccoon, fox, or coyote. I had to use a staple gun to go all the way around the wire on the inside of the panels because it’s barely attached and could be easily pushed out by an animal. The door closures that come with the coop will not keep animals from getting into the coop. I bought eye hooks, hasps and small locks to secure the doors and litter pan. The “window” on the door is a flexible piece of clear vinyl attached with a few staples. I did use 16” U anchors to secure the coop to the ground as it is very lightweight and could easily be moved by a medium sized animal looking for a meal. Hoping my girl survives the night so I can reinforce the coop with heavy duty wire fencing. I really wanted to love it, but it’s definitely not worth the money. It’s too small for a full grown chicken. In my opinion it would be cheaper, more secure and sturdier to buy lumber and heavy duty fencing wire and build your own. ... show more

  • Very durable starter coop for 2-4 hens! Very durable starter coop for 2-4 hens!
Pattern Name: L Size - Chicken Coop with Wheels... Size: 82.4"L x 25.8"W x 44.1"H
I’m writing this review 9 months later… the coop is still in great condition! It has tipped over and been dragged by 80 mph winds on two different occasions (chickens were fine) and has no structural damage! It was easy to build myself, taking a couple hours. Size-wise, I would say definitely 4 hens max (full grown.) in my photo my 4 hens were 6 months old, just starting to lay, so they have gotten slightly bigger since then, but you can see they all fit snuggled up with a whole other roost available! (With their size now, 2 per roost is doable with some wiggle room still.) I also added an automatic door to the entrance to this coop while I used it as a standalone. When my hens started laying eggs and getting bigger, they needed much more outside run space. I purchased a large run and keep this coop inside of it for sleeping and nesting boxes! I just took the doors off the bottom run section so they can come and go as they please. This is a very good starter coop, but once your pullets get bigger, they need more outside space! I just purchased and built another coop from this brand (the large one) since I am adding to my flock! However, I will keep this coop for extra sleeping and nesting space! I can also use it to isolate new chicks for the first few weeks! The only thing I wish I could change is having ventilation on both the front and back, rather than just the front, for better airflow. Also, my hens did not learn how to roost very well since the roost bars are only about an inch or two off the slide-out tray, so with added bedding they are basically on flat ground rather than elevated. The inside stays bone dry during rain and snow! (The only time anything got in was from the window when we had blowing winds.) ... show more
