Partner couldn't contain their excitement when they opened it. Ended up using it for soup 3 days later. Will need to season it a bit better as cooking a soup in it all day was a bit much, but our fault for having to much acid in the soup. Great caldron, great value for the price.

I love this pot First off it cleans like cast iron some people don’t like that I don’t mind Second it’s not as heavy as you would think, don’t recommend yanking it up but it’s just hefty by itself its when the cauldron is full is when it gets kind of wonky Third it’s just like a crock pot except this needs water added every now and again So far a soup, a roast, and a simmer pot are all possible if you have a fire, or a really strong gas stove it does fit on mine but it’s a little tall ... show more
