I'm happy with the lifting bench and looks nice in my home gym, however I bought a used like new one which I've never had a problem with from Amazon but should have spent 20$ more for a new one. Broken wheels and missing parts! You would think Amazon would send replacement parts!!

After two months of almost-daily use, this bench has held up well. The padding has the right level of sturdiness and cushioning. The adjustment settings achieve all the angles I use for my workouts. The seat pad incurred a small tear along one of the seams while I had the seat up for inclined bench presses. I learned that you need to be careful when sitting on the seat that you sit all the way back, rather than sitting at the front end and sliding down, which pulls the fabric and can stretch it or lead to tears. That sounds obvious, but the seat is pretty tall when it is in its highest position, so you need to be careful when getting on the bench while carrying weights (if the seat is up). Adjusting the bench is simple and fast with the quick-release screwing knobs. Great value for the price. It's very sturdy and has held up well. ... show more

This is not quite commercial quality, but for the price I don't expect that. Assembly was fairly easy. The handle and wheels are nice to have, to help you move the bench around a room. It's very sturdy and acceptably comfortable padding, not a huge amount of padding, but enough that it's fine.     • It works, it’s heavy duty, but it’s not perfect

I was really excited for this product to arrive. My current bench is quite flimsy and wobbly so I was thinking this would be a nice upgrade. The product arrived a few days early, which was great, just in time for chest day. Out of the box, I was surprised by how heavy duty it was. Assembly was easy, with the exception of a couple hex bolts for which the supplied Allen wrench did not fit. Once built, I realized that the frame was torqued/not square (see photos). My floor is level and the base does not rest level on the floor, so I’ll likely bend it so it does. The back rest is also torqued a bit as you can see in the photos, which is annoying. Also, both the back rest and the seat have minor tears in the leather. Lastly, the tube supporting the back rest is dented and the end cap was broken upon arrival. ... show more

The bench looks good and is nice and smooth when you adjust the upper and lower portions. However, the adjustment mechanism / guide rail is off center and makes the bench unstable. It’s fine to sit on but as soon as you start to move it jiggles back and forth. My bench has a seemingly permanent lean to one side, on the first day of use. It says a weight limit of 300 pounds but I wouldn’t use any weight on it. ... show more
