Im rather impressed. This is my 3rd unit from Camplux. The first one malfunctioned after almost 2 years. I could have fixed it easy but the unfiltered river water i run through it and the frequent use of 5 showers a day 3 days a week for 8 months out of the year, i figured id buy a new one (for comparison, my indoor conventional name brand water heater needs the elimant replaced yearly due to the water). Anyway, the second unit had improvements but again only lasted about 2 years, this time my fault as there was a suprize deep freeze that burst the lines (not normally a problem but i typically dont have water in it over the winter so my fault and user error). Anyway, the price has gone up nearly $100 from the first unit i bout years ago. Its well worth it though. The company has obviously listened to past complaints. If you call them it will go nowhere due to the language barrier but you won't need to call them. The unit now displays in degrees F rather than degrees C as was previous. They improved the flow switch (that was what failed on my first unit). They now include good brass hardware and all the adapters needed to hook to a garden hose or a standard plumbing NPT pipe. If you are trying to go to PVC you will still need to buy your own adapter but they are cheap unlike the invluded brass adapters. The gas line and regulator is of good quality, and they apparently now include mounting hardware for wood, drywall, or masonry, even a couple wrenches. The shower head is still rather cheap. I have heard people complain about it but i disagree. I think its nice they include one at all. Besides, if you get a high end shower head, it costs about the same as the whole unit. The cheap included head works just fine so who cares. Anway, im impressed by their improvements. Do not let the low price scare you. Build quality is not as good as a name brand unit but for a fraction of the price, it is far better than it should be and a no-brainer to me when compared to a $600 or even a $1k+ unit. I purchased the CAMPLUX Nano 3 Pro on March 20, 2025 for my off-grid cabin to use as my everyday shower. I use it twice a day (morning and night) and never had any issues with having a nice warm shower. It's now August 2025 and suddenly it's nothing but problems. The unit has always been protected from the elements; the water pressure is exactly the same going into the unit as it was in March when I purchased it, the batteries are charged when needed and the little green 1lb pressure tanks are the only thing that has been changed when they run out. Now when I go to turn the shower on, the flame clicks and ignites and about 10 secs later the flame goes out. I tried a brand new 1lb green tank, same thing, turn shower on clicks repeatedly flame ignites and 10 secs or so later the flame goes out. If you search Camplux NanoPro or any Camplux shower troubleshooting it discusses replacing thermocouplers, ignition switches and all that jazz. Who wants to spend $400 and then after a few months have to go online and purchase replacement parts and switches to replace some low-quality internal junk made in China. I could possibly understand some issues if it were outside by the creek or river getting knocked around on a camping trip but sitting on a shelf in the same spot in an indoor bathhouse then suddenly start having issues is kind of a quality issue if you ask me. ... show more

Worth every penny. It is a hotel shower in your hand. I used 3 gallons and took a good shower that was very hot. I turned the water off soaping up but I did not rush and stress about water. Purchased one and it would not charge. Everything else worked though while the battery held a charge. Am returning and am going to order another to see if mine was a fluke. Will review this post after receiving replacement. Update: Purchased another unit and seams to be working flawlessly. Only difference was the packaging. The second unit seemed to be packed better. I am wondering if the first one was an already returned unit as things inside weren’t packed as neatly as the second unit. As if it had been opened previously. On another note, camplux did reach out to me to rectify one day after I emailed them. Offered to replace unit at no charge. I told them I had already returned original unit and ordered another. OH MY GOODNESS!! This portable water heater is, by far, the best investment I have made for camping!! I can not stress how much the family (6) enjoyed hot showers, during a 7 day trip! Washing dishes outside was sooo nice, too not loading up gray tank! It's a very functional unit. Very much needed, at the same time, a beautiful piece of pure luxury! It's very easy to use! Hose is long enough to reach all those important places! Water temp, perfect. I am so impressed with this unit! I will probably use it pool side as well! Almost gave the poodle a bath outside with it! I give it 6 stars! We had a question about the battery screen. We thought it wasn't charging. Customer service was superb! The product meet my expectations. The only thing I did not like is that when you do not use the shower for more than 2 minutes it shuts off the heater itself. If you have the heater outside your shower tent it will be inconvenient to turn the heater back on. I think it has something to do with the pump. It is recommended to be used outside the shower tent so it will not get water inside of the machine but if you're already wet and naked in the shower, you have to reach out and turn the machine on again when it shuts off after 2 minutes. ... show more

Super impressed with my purchase so far. Just unboxed it and it took seconds to assemble. The water did not take long to heat up at all...with in seconds to a minute the temp was up to 118° from 60° Sturdy and light weight. I cant wait to use this on the road this summer!
