I bought this system and it works fantastic. Hoses are great with included rubber sealing washers making it leak and drip proof. The pump is heavy duty and works great. Ease of Installation easy and took very little time. The power cord for the pump is so long it makes connecting a real treat. Everything needed to do the job is there and appears to be high quality. Only odd thing is they include a rack for the bottom of the bucket so the pump sits up a bit. The rack is too tall for the recommended 5 quarts of fluid. However, looking at videos, no one seems to use a rack so I guess it isn't needed. The unit performed as needed. It included two sets of basic instructions. I would not recommend getting the solution. It has a level of toxicity that will require a considerably longer flushing of the unit after descaling to insure that all of the chemical has been evacuated from the system. Three or four gallons of white vinegar work fine. If your water supply is hard water allow more descale time and perform the process more often. ... show more

I have two tankless water heaters in my house and the plumber wanted something like $650 to service both. Plus it's supposed to be done once a year, so that really adds up. I was a little nervous, "What if I screw this up?" but it's not hard at all. It's super easy. Most of the plumbers cost is due to the time spent waiting for the tank to recirculate long enough to take off mineral deposits. Naturally plumbers have a high hourly rate and they only do one tank at a time, so the cost sort of makes sense when you look at the total time. But I don't need to pay for a plumber to sit around. You should watch some YouTube videos. Plenty of how-to's out there. This was a far cheaper option. I did both in a few hours....easy project on a Sunday when there's some football games on. I let it run extra long just because it hadn't been done in awhile and I probably had more build-up than normal. Kit was great. Quality of the hoses and connections are great. No complaints or areas of improvement. I didn't use the descaling solution provided the first time, because most DIY videos's used white vinegar.
